This is the first in the 'Yukihiro x Yukihiro EARLY 80s' reissue series, which highlights Takahashi Yukihiro's solo work from the early 1980s.'Murdered by the Music' is Takahashi Yukihiro's second solo album, released by King Records in 1980, during the YMO boom. Basedon the new wave sound that was sweeping the rock world at the time, this album added various musical elements such as surf music, 2-tone ska, and Motown sound, and showed Takahashi's pop side in full swing, and was a hit that reached 12th place on the charts. B1 is a self-cover of a song he provided to The Ventures. B3 is a cover of a hit song by The Supremes.
