Marketing Manager - Email & Retention

Hatfield, Pa

World Wide Stereo is looking for a dedicated Email and Retention Marketing Manager to own the development, deployment, and reporting processes for our online and brick and mortar email marketing and cross-functional customer retention program. This person will develop our email channel to better engage our audience, build brand loyalty and equity, and drive revenue. Ownership includes overall program strategy and planning, content and design, deliverability and compliance, list building and segmentation, and reporting. 

The right candidate is a creative, data-driven marketer with superb analytical skills, retail savvy, and a proven track record of using email marketing to drive customer engagement, revenue growth, and  platform innovation and development. That means this person can translate complex data into actionable and profitable marketing plans and has a knack for getting the right messages to the right customers at the right times.

And the greatest email in the world is worthless if it never gets opened, right? This person must possess the A/B testing mastery and writing prowess to be an email subject line superhero and craft email content in a snappy, snackable way that builds curiosity and drives click through.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end process of email campaign development, including planning, execution, reporting, and the ongoing optimization of the program.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team, key stakeholders, and analytical resources to maintain an organized, up-to-date email calendar and develop and execute effective and efficient marketing campaigns on deadline.
  • Develop both campaign-driven and customer behavior-driven programs to ensure appropriate and timely messaging throughout the customer lifecycle. This includes trigger-based personalization and reengagement strategies.
  • Craft email-specific content, including subject lines, headlines, and in-body copy that piques user interest and drives opens and clicks.
  • Execute email visual output, layout, and design working with the creative team to develop scalable templates and ensure brand consistency.
  • Design and deploy A/B and multivariate testing initiatives to improve key retention and conversion metrics.
  • Develop and optimize list building programs and new customer acquisition strategies.
  • Define key metrics, set targets, and track performance of each campaign and delivery to glean insights that are shared with the department weekly.
  • Ensure consistency and deliverability across all major email providers, working with ISPs to optimize sending rates, remediating blacklists, and identifying spam traps.
  • Ensure compliance with email laws (CAN-SPAM) as well as company guidelines.
  • Work with our technology team to diagnose, maintain, and improve the data and technical infrastructure underlying our email operations, and manage external vendor relationships.
  • Analyze campaign results and customer behavior to determine key levers to increase revenue, CLV, and manage subscriber health.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Significant experience in an omnichannel retail and e-commerce email marketing role demonstrating great program management, process building, and creative collaboration skills.
  • Power-user level experience with one or more third-party email service provider platforms (Bronto, Listrak, Sailthru, etc.).
  • Ability to identify and interpret key performance indicators to optimize email messaging, promotional opportunities and campaign designs.
  • Expertise in implementing marketing trigger and personalization programs and list segmentation designed to drive value and enhance customer retention.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and content design in the context of building/coding/deployment of email campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and campaigns in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with data mining techniques and tools.
  • Graphic design capabilities and experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications.

Project Manager

Ardmore, Pa

World Wide Stereo is considered by many the worlds’ finest retail repository of audio, video and the newest smart-home technologies, the 40-year company is on the hunt for a Project Manager to work in the metro Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop systems and procedures to efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Create a detailed scope of work, timeline, and project schedule
  • Manage change orders and monitor their impact on given project
  • Track and update project progress to all stakeholders
  • Attend site visits, meetings, and conference calls
  • Maintain quality assurance on projects
  • Respond to client concerns, questions, and problems
  • Identify and solve issues that will impact given project and schedule
  • Procure equipment for projects
  • Appoint employees and subcontractors for projects
  • Manage staff on site as needed with clear objectives of work to be performed

Position Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in audio/video installation and integration
  • Knowledge of control systems like Savant, Lutron, and URC preferred. 
  • Knowledge in computer networks preferred

Systems Engineer

Hatfield, Pa

General Overview:

A Systems Engineer is responsible for all system designs related to home installation projects.  The system design should meet the client’s expectations as well as maximize the sale and adhere to company guidelines.  This person should be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with vast experience in consumer electronics.  In addition to designing systems and reviewing system designs for accuracy, this person will also work closely with the sales, installation, and project management teams to maintain company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and/or reviews all system designs
  • Works closely with sales, project management, and clients to develop a design that meets clients expectations and maximizes the sale
  • Works closely with sales and project management to hand off a project from the design phase to implementation phases
  • Approves all system designs created by sales prior to presentation with clients
  • Works with sales, project management, and installation on changes and additions to the original scope of work
  • Creates rack layouts, connection list, and other system documentation for projects
  • Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Evaluates new products, concepts, and trends within the industry

Working Conditions:

This job requires travel mainly in southeastern Pennsylvania.  On occasion, there will be travel out of this region. Normal working hours are 7am to 3:30pm.  Working after hours on evenings and/or weekends is required under special circumstances pertaining to a project that you are involved with.

Sales & System Designer

Ardmore, Pa

World Wide Stereo is the leading provider of emerging technologies is seeking goal-oriented, competitive, and ambitious individuals who are looking to build a long-term career in a sales driven environment.

General overview:

This is both an “inside” and “outside” sales position based out of our Technology Design Gallery located in the Main Line area of the Philadelphia suburbs.  We have a state of the art showroom designed to seamlessly demonstrate emerging technologies in a comfortable home type environment. 

The primary responsibility is to generate and maintain sales relationships with clients and referral networks. It is expected that you represent the company with professional integrity and enthusiasm.   In addition to the primary sales component of this position, there would also be responsibility for merchandising, general showroom maintenance and day to day operational duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients in the showroom with retail purchases and custom sales.
  • Generate leads by developing relationships with builders, architects and designers and related trades.
  • Generate sales leads by attending events and getting involved in the community.
  • Maintain a current customer account list along with reaching out to past clients to generate sales and maintain the relationship.
  • After the sale follow up, including phone calls, thank you letters and asking for referrals.
  • General store maintenance and merchandising.
  • Attending required trainings.

Position Requirements:

  • 2 plus years Sales experience in consumer electronics or a technology field.
  • Previous sales experience in Home Automation, Lighting, Shade Control, High-End Audio and Home theaters, as well as Enterprise Grade Networks, is a plus.
  • Action and results oriented attitude.  
  • Strong computer skills.
