Built-In 4x45W RMS Amplifier
By incorporating a highly efficient Class-D amplifier into the receiver, the DSX-M80 is able to produce outstanding output power from a compact body. The amp also minimizes the electromagnetic interference that can generate a hiss as volume levels increase, leaving you free to enjoy enhanced sound quality at any volume.
Connect two smartphones, with Dual Bluetooth
Pair your first phone using Bluetooth for full access to navigation, music playback, and communication features. A second phone can be connected simultaneously for making and receiving hands-free calls.
Expand your sound system
When you’re ready to expand your system, the receiver delivers strong 5 volt RCA pre-amp outputs for external front, rear, and subwoofer amplifiers. Sony’s high voltage pre-out gives you a much clearer sound with less distortion when connected to the power amplifier. You can also expect less external noise.

Subwoofer Direct Connection with 2-ohm Option
Just connect a subwoofer to either side of the rear channel speaker output. When using this function, as well as front L/R, DSP settings for the subwoofer are available and can be handled on the MENU display. With the newly introduced 2-ohm load feature, you can utilize multiple speakers per channel, realizing a 4.1-ch bass-driven system so easily with no external amplifier.

Wherever you sit in your car, you’re always closer to some speakers than others, and this affects how the music sounds. Intelligent Time Alignment re-calibrates the signal so that you’re always in the center of the sound field, for a more natural listening experience.
