Released in 1983, How Old Are You? marked Robin Gibb's triumphant return to solo work after a 13-year hiatus since Robin's Reign. Co-produced with his brother Maurice Gibb, the album blends synth-pop, soft rock, and new wave textures with Robin's signature emotional intensity. The lead single "Juliet" became a massive hit in Germany, topping the charts and driving the album to No. 6 nationally. Maurice played bass, synthesizer, piano, and guitar, while Bee Gees drummer Dennis Bryon handled drums and co-production duties. The Boneroo Horns added punchy brass arrangements, giving tracks like "Danger" and "Hearts on Fire" a vibrant edge. Robin's vocals soar in a high range, distinct from Barry's falsetto, delivering heartfelt performances on "Another Lonely Night in New York" and "I Believe in Miracles".
