Diamond Cut Metal Parts

The aluminum components of the Debut Reference 10 are finished with a precise diamond-cut process, giving them a striking, refined appearance with clean edges and a premium feel. By using solid aluminum instead of plastic or less durable materials, Pro-Ject ensure long-lasting, sustainable quality. The CNC-milled parts are perfectly matched in both form and finish, contributing to the Debut Reference 10‘s clean, modern, and timeless design aesthetic.

10‘‘ Carbon-Aluminum Tonearm

The Debut Reference 10 comes equipped with a one-piece carbon-aluminum sandwich tonearm, designed to deliver high-performance playback. The outer layer, made from carbon fiber, provides outstanding rigidity for accurate stylus movement. Inside, an aluminum tube is used to effectively dampen vibrations, ensuring smooth and stable operation. This unique construction combines the strengths of both materials, resulting in a tonearm that is both extremely stiff and exceptionally well-dampened. The result is precise groove tracking, reduced distortion, and a cleaner, more detailed sound reproduction.

Adjustable VTA & Azimuth

The Debut Reference 10 features a tonearm that offers full adjustability for both azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA), allowing for precise alignment and optimal performance. By simply loosening the two grub screws, the tonearm height can be continuously adjusted, providing the flexibility to accommodate variations in cartridge heights or different turntable mats. These advanced adjustment options make it easy to fine-tune your setup.

Always The Perfect Speed

The Debut Reference 10 features precision electronic speed control, ensuring exceptionally accurate playback at all times. Switching between speeds is quick and effortless thanks to the toggle switch. To maintain the highest sound quality, the turntable is equipped with a newly developed motor suspension system that effectively isolates and decouples the motor from the chassis. This advanced design prevents unwanted vibrations from reaching the cartridge, ensuring clean and uninterrupted audio performance.

The diamond cut aluminum sub-platter can be machined to much higher tolerances and is a substantial upgrade to regular plastic sub-platters. It adds more mass to the entire platter and drive system, resulting in additional damping of noise and unwanted resonances. The improved tolerances during production will increase overall speed accuracy. The additional mass improves short term speed stability, or also called Wow & Flutter.

Acrylic Main Platter

The main platter of the Debut Reference 10 is crafted from high-quality acrylic with a satinised surface, designed not only for visual elegance but also for exceptional acoustic performance. Acrylic shares a similar impedance to vinyl records, which helps create a more natural, liquid sound signature while eliminating the need for additional damping materials. Unlike metal platters, where you will need to place a felt met between record and platter to damp metal resonance, you can put your record directly on the acrylic surface, with nothing in between.

Height Adjustable Damped Feet

The new Debut Reference 10 is engineered to rest on three height-adjustable, TPE damped feet that create an exceptionally stable and isolated foundation. This three-point system is intentionally chosen over four feet, as it offers superior stability on uneven surfaces and allows for precise leveling with minimal effort.

Ensuring that the turntable is perfectly horizontal is not just a convenience, it‘s a critical factor to unleash the full sonic potential of a record player, preserving channel balance, tracking accuracy, and overall performance.

True Balanced

The included Pro-Ject Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge allows you a “True Balanced“ signal transmission. The big advantage of a balanced connection is its ability to remove picked up noise and interferences. The Pro-Ject True Balanced“ cable range offers you the perfect cable to connect your turntable to the Phono Box S3 B, Phono Box DS3 B or Pro-Ject Tube Box DS3 B.

High Quality Phono Cable

Cables are not able to make your sound system sound better, but they ensure that every detail and information of the signal is transmitted to the dedicated receiving device. The included Connect it Phono E RCA is a high-quality phono optimized cable. Pro-Ject focused on quality core materials like a copper conductor for a signal transmission without losses.

Sophisticated DC/AC Power Generator

In all Pro-Ject turntables, Pro-Ject use a “cheap looking” switch mode power supply. Pro-Ject do this, as Pro-Ject use a precision DC-driven AC generator inside the turntable, which powers the motor. With this Pro-Ject create a completely clean new sine wave. This guarantees very clean power which results in enhanced speed stability.
