It features an innovative amplifier module, and a newly designed dual-mono symmetrical amplifier topology. Engineered to eliminate interference, MODEL 10 boasts complete separation of left to right, front-to-back and top-to-bottom internal structures and the lowest-ever distortion and widest dynamic range of any amplifier in Marantz history. However, advances in design and precise tuning by the Sound Master result in the purest expression of the Marantz sound ever. As a result, the listener experiences more detail, lower distortion, and higher dynamic range than ever before.
Iconic Details Reimagined for Tomorrow
Designed with a brushed aluminum control surface, MODEL 10 is encased in a copper-plated, triple layered chassis with illuminated mesh cover grille. Lighting inside the amplifier showcases the circuit boards, high-quality components, and specially designed transformer case. In a nod to the Marantz design DNA, MODEL10’s porthole houses a high-resolution full color OLED display for volume and input selection, along with a digital VU meter that behaves like vintage analog meters.
Marantz Innovative Technology
MODEL 10 sets a new standard in reference audio with its newly designed dual-mono symmetrical amplifier topology. Its switching amplifiers with Purifi technology, exclusively engineered to a unique Marantz layout and built in-house in Shirakawa, boast power increased to 250 WPC (8O) and 500 WPC (4O) with a peak current up to 30A for greater dynamic range and more punch and drive.
Lowest Distortion and Widest Range
Engineered to eliminate interference, MODEL 10 boasts complete separation of left-to right, front-to back and top-to-bottom internal structures and is truly balanced input-to-output. Distortion is dramatically reduced compared to any previous Marantz amplifier, while peak current drive is significantly increased. As a result, listeners can enjoy the most potent integrated amplifier that Marantz has ever built.
Phono MM/MC with Impedance Select
MODEL 10’s MM/MC phono stage features selectable load impedance for compatibility with a wide range of cartridges. Furthermore, the use of HDAM technology instead of traditional components means that this phono stage surpasses the performance of many stand-alone phono stages.
Elegant User Interface
MODEL 10’s user interface is reminiscent of Marantz classics such as the MODEL 9 with its iconic porthole, now updated with a high-resolution color display that can be switched to show volume, input or VU meter. The symmetrically positioned volume and input controls are CNC machined aluminum knobs with a spun finish and have a heavy well-damped feel. The heavy aluminum-faced remote can control all 10 Series products.
SACD10 CD Player
SACD 10 is crafted using a fully Marantz designed SACDM-3 disc transport. Engineered with bespoke technologies such as Marantz Musical Mastering and next generation HDAM circuitry, SACD 10 delivers superior SACD and CD playback. Based around a copper-plated, triple-layered chassis, and featuring DAC inputs, SACD 10 offers high-resolution audio support for external source components and includes extensive digital input provision for other sources. The result is the best SACD player Marantz has ever made.
