Most Bluetooth audio devices rely on a single chipset to cover the three critical tasks of reception, conversion, and amplification. We don’t believe in that level of compromise. The ZEN Air Blue 2 benefits from our custom three-stage Bluetooth design. Inspired by high-end home Hi-Fi systems, each task receives a dedicated critical component. Bluetooth reception is handled by a Qualcomm QCC3095 chipset; an ESS Sabre DAC is dedicated to signal conversion; and custom op-amps take care of amplification - completing a carefully tailored signal path.
