Focal Technologies
The compact design combines a 25 mm aluminum tweeter with 16.5 cm Slatefiber woofers, Focal technologies made in France, to produce precise treble and balanced midrange.
Polyvalence
Versatility is supported by disengageable auto-sleep, XLR, TRS and RCA inputs, plus bass and treble level settings.
Positioning
The monitor is designed for horizontal positioning. A rear-panel switch selects which woofer reproduces the midrange, with the midrange driver recommended toward the inside of the stereo pair.
High-Finesse Treble
Focal’s inverted-dome tweeter design provides broad spatial dispersion, low directivity and strong dynamics. The aluminum dome increases rigidity and reduces distortion, while a waveguide helps stabilize the soundstage; horizontal frequency response stays within +/- 0.5 dB.
Dynamic And Balanced Sound
The France-made Slatefiber cone uses recycled carbon fibers and thermoplastic polymer. Its non-woven fibers are oriented in the same direction to promote rigidity, damping and lightness, supporting dynamic, rich and balanced sound reproduction.
