Versatility
Like Alpha 50 and Alpha 80, Alpha 65 Evo boasts a host of features, including TRS, XLR and RCA inputs, a disengageable automatic standby mode, wall and ceiling mounting inserts for all types of studio work.
High Noise Levels
Its two amplifiers offer high current capacity, for total control of signal dynamics. This also enables high sound levels to be achieved, without distortion.
Modern Design
Its bass-reflex design, rounded contours and robust side panels make Alpha Evo a modern piece of equipment for perfect acoustical integration in any workplace.
High-Finesse Treble
Manufactured by Focal, the inverted dome tweeter has been a signature since 1981. It offers the property of being a true micro loudspeaker. The curvature of the dome is significantly less pronounced than that of positive domes. This allows for better spatial dispersion and offers very low directivity, unlike ribbon tweeters. The inverted dome tweeter therefore generates unrivaled dynamics.
In addition to the dome shapes, Focal engineers work on the materials. Here they chose aluminum, which increases the rigidity of the dome and reduces distortion. And to perfect the spatialization of the sound, a waveguide was developed. In the horizontal plane, the frequency response is within a deviation of +/- 0.5 dB. This performance guarantees an incredibly stable soundstage.
Dynamic & Balanced Sound
Exclusive to Focal, made in France, the Slatefiber cone is made of recycled carbon fibers and thermoplastic polymer. In pursuit of perfection and specialists in speaker cones, Focal engineers have chosen to use non-woven carbon fibers oriented in the same direction to achieve even greater rigidity, damping, and lightness, the "essentials" of a good speaker.
Recognized for its reproduction of dynamic, rich, and balanced sound, this cone has proven itself on numerous products for the home, for professionals in recording studios, and also for listening in cars.
