The classic dual tonearm guides even the most demanding cartridges precisely and safely for a first-class listening experience. With the Ortofon 2M Red cartridge and switchable MM phono preamplifier, the CS 518 not only offers outstanding value for money, but also a very balanced sound.

Plinth
The MDF plinth features a black vinyl veneer, with elastomer vibration absorbers inside the feet. A walnut wood veneer surface option is also available.
Die-Cast Aluminum Platter
The aluminium die-cast platter is designed for long-term precision and uses a heavy rubber mat for resonance damping. A hardened steel spindle runs in a brass bushing.
Tonearm
The twin gimbal tonearm features accurate spring-loaded antiskating and a solid aluminium gimbal construction. Four fine pivot ball-bearings support precise movement.
DC-Motor / Belt
The belt-drive system includes a selector switch for 33, 45, and 78 rpm. Rubber mountings help decouple vibration, while the precision-cut belt reduces wow and flutter.
