Recorded live off the floor, their debut album channels themes of small-town escape, personal reckoning, and full-throttle freedom.The Boojums are a three-piece rock band hailing from Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. Formed in late 2024, they quickly made waves by uploading grainy, self-recorded live VHS performances to YouTube and Instagram, catching attention with their infectious hooks and raw, no-frills energy. Their sound is a throwback and a leap forward-melding '60s garage rock, '70s punk, '80s alternative, and '90s power-pop into something undeniably fresh.Their self-titled debut LP captures the band in full force: a stripped-down, emotionally charged ride through personal growth, heartbreak, love, mortality, and life in small-town Nova Scotia.
