Draumr Ast - Vinyl LP

Bhleg's 2014 debut, "Draumr Ást", is being issued on vinyl for the first time. The Swedish black metal duo is one of Nordvis' longest-running artist collaborations, and their forest-scented sound is one which has since become synonymous with the label. "Draumr Ást" is strongly reminiscent of the gloomy woodland spirit of Ulver's "Bergtatt", but also shows traces of the predatory ferociousness found in "Nattens madrigal". The hypnotic monotony permeating both the metal and ambient parts speak of a clear Burzum influence, and the mesmerising guitar tone weaves together a dreamlike, sonic tapestry which is occasionally enhanced by shamanic percussion. The LP version of Draumr Ást, which was re-mastered by Tore Stjerna at Necromorbus Studio, comes with enhanced artwork, insert, and classic black vinyl. Custom illustrations by H. Larsson.
