Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. When jazz bass virtuoso Paul Chambers recorded his 3rd and final album as a Blue Note lead, Bass On Top, he was already well established. Brilliantly seductive, it features Hank Jones (piano), Kenny Burrell (guitar) and Art Taylor (drums). Features a chamber-jazz interpretation of Jerome Kern's "Yesterdays" & a swinging version of "Dear Old Stockholm," a tune often associated w/ Miles Davis.
