Inside the ACD APEX lies a WM8761 digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) and a pair of Raytheon 5744 NOS micro-tubes, originally engineered for military-grade durability and precision. Together, they produce an exceptionally low THD+N distortion of 0.005% (RCA) and a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding -105 dBrA. Frequency response remains ultra-linear between 20Hz and 20kHz, while the maximum output voltage reaches 2V RMS (RCA) and 4V RMS (XLR).
