This past weekend marked a milestone for World Wide Stereo as we officially opened the doors to our brand-new Experience Center at 218 E. Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, PA. Over two incredible days—Friday, September 12th, and Saturday, September 13th—our iconic round building came alive with music, technology, and community celebration.

Friday Night: An Exclusive First Look

The weekend kicked off Friday evening with our VIP preview event, where invited guests got their first glimpse of what we've been building. The excitement was palpable as visitors explored our 21 immersive technology zones, each designed to showcase real-world solutions for modern living. Highlights included the immersive theater room, the intimate two-channel listening room, and our dramatic 150-inch video wall visible from Lancaster Avenue.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from fellow Best of Philly winner 12th Street Catering while exploring spaces where technology either disappears seamlessly into design or takes center stage as a work of art. From speakers hidden in walls and subwoofers disguised as garden décor, to exquisite statement turntables and premium audio systems, every corner sparked conversation and wonder.

Saturday: Wayne Shows Up In Force

If Friday was the preview, Saturday was the main event. From morning until late afternoon, the Experience Center transformed into a true community celebration. Families, friends, and technology enthusiasts filled the showroom, moving between demonstrations, chatting with our experts, and discovering what's possible when innovation meets elegant design.

The festive atmosphere extended beyond our walls, with the Brick Oven Pizza truck serving fresh artisan pizzas, keeping everyone fueled.

Throughout both days, we ran premium raffles featuring high-end audio gear and exclusive prizes from the likes of McIntosh, Bowers & Wilkins, Marantz, Sonus faber, Focal, and more, with all proceeds benefiting Peter's Place, a local nonprofit supporting grieving children and families in and around the Main Line. The response was overwhelming, turning our celebration into an opportunity to give back to the community that has already welcomed us so warmly.

More Than a Showroom

What became clear over these two days is that our Wayne Experience Center is more than just a showroom—it's a destination. This is the Main Line's first immersive space where cutting-edge audio, video, and smart home technology come together to transform how you live and entertain. It's a curated, hands-on environment where you can see, hear, and feel what's possible for your home, whether you're planning a renovation, new build, or technology upgrade.

Our new space features technology that ranges from the invisible to the show-stopping:

  • Speakers that vanish into walls
  • TVs that transform into framed art
  • Cinematic home theaters that rival commercial venues
  • Dedicated listening suites for true audiophiles
  • Fully integrated smart living systems

Thank You, Wayne
