When a project calls for fun and nostalgic cozy cabin vibes for the renovation of a vacation property in the Poconos, we're totally here for it. For as long as we've been making our client's homes more fun, we've been making their vacation homes even more fun. From golf simulators and gaming rooms, to incredible music systems, it's all about bringing family and friends together. And nothing does that like good music or a favorite movie.
Meet Camp Pocono Pines, a former camp that has been welcoming families and friends for over 100 years. Recently renovated by Philly-area designer and influencer, Monica Mangin, the collection of six private cottages were reimagined from top to bottom, each with a unique color palette and playful decor. Monica, a regular home and style contributor on the Kelly and Ryan Show, embraced the vintage vibes of the property and didn't want to compromise that aesthetic for the convenience of modern technology. And she didn't have to. We outfitted the cabins with TVs, turntables, and accessories that looked like they were made for the retro-inspired mountain retreat.
We installed Samsung Frame Smart TVs throughout, which are made to look unmistakable to artwork on the wall and allow for easy access to streaming services via WiFi in this case (or a hardwired connection). Deco TV Frames, a genius solution for customizing Samsung Frame TVs, were selected for each TV in vintage materials like distressed woods and antiqued golds to further "camouflage" the TVs into the rustic cabin decor. Colorful retro-inspired Victrola turntables and vintage-inspired typewriters (sorry, now sold out) were placed in each cabin alongside a handpicked selection of classic used records found at local record stores.
Selections were made to not only look like they belonged in the space, but to be simple to use and guest and renter-friendly. Monica is now welcoming guests through Airbnb to enjoy her cabins year round.
