On July 23, we welcomed over 60 guests to our Wayne Experience Center for the North American premiere of the new Bowers & Wilkins 800 Series Diamond D5.
Designed as an intimate evening for music lovers, the event brought together clients, industry partners, and the Bowers & Wilkins team for an exclusive first listen to the latest generation of one of audio's most respected loudspeaker families.
An Evening Built Around Music
The evening began with hors d'oeuvres, bourbon tastings, handcrafted Old Fashioneds, and great conversation before everyone settled in for the presentation and listening session.
Members of the Bowers & Wilkins team shared the story behind the new 800 Series Diamond D5, offering insights into the engineering and thoughtful refinements that define this latest generation.
From there, the lights dimmed and the music took over.
We began with a curated playlist before opening the floor to audience requests, giving guests the opportunity to hear their own favorite tracks on the new speakers. Whether it was a longtime reference recording or a personal favorite, each selection offered a different perspective on what the 800 Series Diamond D5 can do.
It was exactly the kind of evening we love hosting: bringing people together to slow down, listen, and enjoy great music.

What's New in the 800 Series Diamond D5?
While the unmistakable design remains, the new D5 series introduces meaningful refinements throughout the loudspeaker, from cabinet construction and crossover design to updates to the midrange and bass drivers.
Rather than reinventing the 800 Series, Bowers & Wilkins focused on refining it, building on more than six decades of engineering to deliver an even more transparent and engaging listening experience.
