Product Information

Improve Subwoofer Performance and Eliminate Room Rattle

The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System works with nearly every subwoofer brand and model to improve bass performance, while reducing floor and wall vibrations, noise artifacts, and complaints from neighbors or roommates. Decoupling a subwoofer from the floor results in inherently tighter and cleaner sounding bass. It's also the next best thing to sound-proofing and ideal for carpeted rooms, hardwood floors, or any space where room rattles, buzzes, or vibrations are present.

How Does Decoupling Improve Performance?

Decoupling is making the interaction between a subwoofer and floor so weak that virtually no energy is transferred between them. The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System features rigorously tested optimized durometer elastomer feet that significantly reduce the transmission of subwoofer energy through your floor and walls. This allows low frequency effects to be transferred through the air where they can be felt, resulting in tighter and cleaner sounding bass, no more distracting buzz or rattle from the room, and better sonic clarity and dynamics.

Be a Better Neighbor

Infrasonic jolts and subterranean levels of bass bring our entertainment to life, but they can also disturb neighbors and roommates because the longer low frequency sound waves travel through walls and floors more effortlessly than midrange and high frequency waves. The SVS SoundPath Isolation System drastically reduces the bass notes and low frequency vibrations your neighbors and roommates will notice.

A Discreet, Affordable Alternative to Subwoofer Platforms and Risers

The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System feet come in a variety of thread sizes that easily screw into any subwoofer's existing threaded inserts and subtly elevate the sub enclosure on a cushion of elastomer encased in stainless steel. The understated feet are a stylish, more effective alternative to bulky risers and platforms at a fraction of the cost, and they also work with some other turntables and components.

Does exactly what it says on the box
These are surprisingly effective and do exactly as advertised. My subs are now slightly tighter sounding, but more importantly bass travel through the floor and walls (into my neighbors house) is significantly reduced. This helps them and me because I am able to enjoy my movies without the creeping sensation that the doorbell is about to ring...

As a final note, the isolation feet are easy to install, attractive and have the added benefit of providing some traction on the wooden floors to prevent the subs from being constantly shifted about by my 2 year old.

I own a pair of SVS SB12-NSD subwoofers so I am accustomed to high build quality and excellent performance from SVS. The SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System is no exception. The ease of installation to excellent build quality this isolation system is a cost-effective way to bring an already great system to the next level. It eliminates the mechanical energy which allows to you to enjoy movies and music at increased volume levels without affecting the Richter scale . Highly recommended to anyone looking for a solution to rid their subwoofer/s of unwanted vibrations.

Prior to purchasing the system, I pulled up and read as many reviews as I could find.
I didn't realize how much of a difference the system made until after the installation was done, I really didn't have a complaint before hand because of the accuracy of my PB2000 sub. Once the new feet were installed the little bit of resonance that I did notice was gone.I was very happy with my sub's performance prior to the installation and now it's just another feather in SVS's cap, thanks SVS

Just bought my second set
I have owned a set of these for my home theater and just obtained an additional sub for my music system. The isolation gives decidedly cleaner sound and less inadvertent floor/wall shaking. Thanks for a product that does what it's supposed to.

The isolation feet work very well. They tightened up the bass. I had to retune, a little bit, the relationship between my Wilson Sophia speakers and my REL Stentor 3 subwoofer. I'd like to replace my 15 year old sub with one of your subs but it's hard to sell a 140 pound sub. Maybe some day. As I said, great isolation system.

Good Bass
I live in a condo where my family room/entertainment area is right above my neighbor's bedroom. My wife and I often watch shows and movies later in the evening or at night. So I purchased these trying to be a good neighbor. Anyway, after installing, the first thing I noticed was that there was less resonance from my corner-loaded, sealed Emotiva sub. That instantly demonstrated that the product works. I immediately adjusted the crossover settings, and raised the sub volume a bit, and it seems like my sub is better integrated with my front speakers than they were before (2.1 setup). I don't know if my neighbor can tell a difference, but my listening experience has improved, the sub is less noticeable as an individual speaker. So, success. I didn't bother asking my wife...

These babies WORK!
I bought three sets of these, two sets for the dual SVS PB-1000 subs up front, and one set for the SVS PC-13 Ultra in the rear. Really made a difference, especially with the PC-13 Ultra. I was hearing all of the subs before installing these... Now, night and day, you FEEL the subs now, not that you could not before, but it made a VERY noticeable improvement all around. If you are on the fence or are having sound issues, hearing, not feeling your sub(s), you really need to consider purchasing a set of these. I wish I would have had these for my old Velodyne.

Huge improvement in bass sound quality when I added the isolation system to my SB-2000. Room rattle during extreme LFE scenes reduced significantly. Very happy with the purchase! Plan to add the isolation system to my SB-16 Ultra that I hope to get from Santa ??

SVS Soundpath Feet Review
I purchased and installed 4 sets of the SVS Soundpath feet on four of my subwoofers . I installed 2 sets on two Outlaw X-12 subs using the M6 screws. They work much better than the solid metal spiked feet that came stock on the Outlaw subs , decoupling the subs from my hardwood floors . I previously used Auralex gramma platforms , which work great but are a pain when you need to move the sub to clean it or adjust the amplifier. The feet are just much more convenient. I installed the last second two sets of feet on an SVS PB12NSD and PB10 subwoofer I have in my bedroom surround system. The feet are so simple to install , takes me ten minutes per sub, and the went on all four subwoofers with no problems. If you have not tried decoupling your subwoofer from your floors it can make a tremendous improvement in cleaner bass with a marked reduction in extraneous vibrations in your room eliminates a lot of annoying rattling and buzzing from vibrations being transmitted to objects on shelves or hung on walls or items placed on tables or furniture.Well worth the $50 price and twenty dollars cheaper than my auralex gramma platforms.Best subwoofer tweak I've tried.
