Just awesome!
Last year I was finally able to built my dedicated home theater room and since then I had been saving money upgrade the subwoofer, and last month I finally bought this PB-1000 and man, this beast took my theater to a whole new level, pura excellence, now even the dialogue driven movies come to life thanks this sub, it's a joy to watch any movie now. And the action movies? Clean bass! Last night I watched Top Gun Maverick, all I'm going to say is, thank God I don't have any neighbors! SVS you have a new loyal customer, I'll definitely be thinking about adding a second PB-1000 in the future and I'm already considering the Prime Elevation as rears for when I upgrade my AV receiver to have a 7.1.4 setup.

Absolutely amazing subs
Replaced some older, smaller subs in my home theater with a pair of these beasts and wish I would have done so to begin with! The PB-1000 takes lunch money from other subs. Such full and deep sound out of a surprisingly small/manageable package.

Great sub Especially at $400 from Worldwide stereo could beat the price but now I upgrade to the PB-2000 witch is twice as good and digs lower with more SPL??
This sub is good for a small room or bedroom but if u want to fill a little bit of a larger room get 2 PB-2000s you won't be disappointed!!

Great sub, especially at $449 from the outlet
My outlet PB 1000 was purchased to be a temp fill in for a classic 22 yr old, 98lb Velodyne F-1500R servo sub that needed its amp to be shipped off for repair. Needless to say, I think I’ll either keep the PB 1000 for HT duty or trade up within a year to a PB 2000 Pro.

The PB 1000 integrated smoothly with my JBl L5 towers and competes with the F-1500R down to about 20Hz, where the Velodyne keeps going into the 15Hz range with authority and no distortion. For a $500 sub that is some achievement.

Highly recommended.

Incredibly Precise Bass Control, Range, and Depth
I bought two of these and they are the best subs I have ever heard outside of a real theater or IMAX theater. The precision of sound is so good and combined with a high quality receiver, you can really hear the difference in low frequency output for different applications, movies, games, music of different types. It represents music the way the artist intended, the way a director intended and can get so low, my house literally shakes. Incredible subs and worth every cent. Must buy!

Moved my pant legs!!!
Looks like I got one of the final PB-1000's and I couldn't be happier. While setting this beast up I was playing a DVD of "Captain Marvel" with explosions going off all over the place and I was in awe of the extent of the KABOOMS. Never did that ever happen with my Velodyne CHT10 and I thought it was pretty good. The PB-1000 is solid piece of audio equipment that I am now the proud owner of. Thank you SVS!

Neighbor friendly sub
I have the VTF2 Mk5 and compared with the PB-1000 I like latter better. I can listened with the Pb-1000 at a higher volume. At the level I am listening, the VTF-2 will thump the wall, I am sure the neighbor will complain.

My velodyne blew the cheesy gasket on the passive radiator. And no i didn't abuse it. It's foam. <br />When I saw this and looked at independent reviews, I figured cheap fix, price /quality value.<br />Yes, I know it's discontinued, but it still works as good as it as it did when it was a current model, that has not changed.
