Alongside it sits Shanling's special USB Audio output, providing a direct connection between the CD player and modern USB DACs. And for high-end active speakers, CT90 offers two AES/EBU outputs.

For the moments when convenience wins over the purity of CD playback, CT90 adds in Bluetooth input mode, for wireless playback from any smartphone and their streaming apps. CT90 also features a dedicated USB input, for direct use with computers, transforming CT90 from a pure CD player to a fully equipped Audio Interface Transport.

To effectively control the crucial amount of jitter, CT90 was designed with a pair of high-precision 45.1584 MHz / 49.152 MHz oscillators, offering accurate and error free digital signal.
External World Clock Support
For smooth integration into High-End setups, CT90 offers additional world clock input. Supporting industry standard BNC connector and 44.1kHz and 10MHz modes.
35W Linear Power Supply
With a Hi-Fi grade transformer, CT90 employs a linear power supply for highly refined audio performance. Outclassing cheaper switching power solutions in terms of overall noise and smoothness of presentation, with ample power reserve as favored by Shanling's experienced engineers.
Top-Loading Design

Dedicated Upsampling System
With the dedicated upsampling CT7302 chipset, CT90 can further shape the signal for the ideal delivery to any DAC, with the digital source helping with the ideal delivery of PCM or DSD signal.
USB Drive Playback Unlock Full Hi-Res
Load a USB drive with a vast music library and connect it to the dedicated USB port of CT90, essentially turning it into a simplified streamer. With the full support of lossless high-resolution files, up to PCM 768 kHz, DSD512 and MQA.
