The SD/IR is compact and easy to install, with everything included to keep those doors closed while controlling your electronics.

how would you know if you need an IR bypass?

  Thanks for your question. The Salamander SD/IR allows any handheld IR remote to control A/V components positioned behind solid cabinet doors. This would include a cable box, blue-ray DVD cable, and an AV components.
