Dead pixel after 1yr
Had to have unit shipped in for consecutive years for dead pixels. 2nd time the unit was not repaired, but given a pro rated refund. For the money that was spent for the initial purchase it is beyond disappointing.

Dead pixel after only 700 hours, literally 1 month after the 1-year warranty expired. I would expect video issues after 15,000-20,000 hours.

The picture is wonderful, but I am extremely disappointed by this.

Crisp picture, silent operation
Great projector. Pros: great, crisp picture, silent operation, quick power up and shutdown. Cons: heavy, large, "smart tv"-like interface not necessary since most people use standalone media players. Focus lever is stiff, would prefer to change focus using remote.

Best Projector I have ever owned
This projector stands leagues above anything I have ever owned. The debt of colors, richness, clearing, ease of use and setup, I could go on and on. It's great. The only cavity is when HDR switches on, there is a quick color flinch as the projector sets itself. But nothing major. All in all. I have no complaints. And to not have to worry about a bulb is a godsend. Thank you LG. Keep up the great work.

Excellent Picture - Broke after 8 months
The chip failed in my projector after 8-9 months. LG repaired it (it took 3 weeks). The warranty is 1 year. Google search shows many owners had the Chip fails between 1200-1500 hours. So disappointed as this will be a disposable projector when the chip fails again after being out of warranty.

I purchased this projector a year ago. Image quality is great but dark scenes can be hard to make out. I have heard people calibrating it to get even better image but I am not that kind of consumer. Even though this a smart projector you will need a secondary device to get all the streaming services. For sound you’ll definitely need a sound bar. Built-in speakers are underwhelming. The good thing is it can pass through Dolby Atmos and other high resolution audio from connected HDMI devices. Image project can be quite tricky to just get right because of manual focus and positioning. I often have to adjust the position or the focus because of temperature changes in the projector cause the Len shifts Just enough to lose focus or misalign with the projector screen. Despite some of these issues this projector has been a great experience. The main problem with this projector is LG refuses/neglected to update the firmware. Even after year it’s running on the web OS 5 while newer less expensive projectors are running on webOS 6. Also there are few other issues that keep people have complained about that could be fixed with firmware upgrade just take a look at AVForum. If anybody from LG is reading this please support this product.

Great picture, great price
I was unsure how good of a picture I'd be getting from a projector in this price range. I shouldn't have been. This projector has been great so far! To me, the picture is just as good as the high-end 4k TV that I have elsewhere in my house. This is the best of both worlds - amazing UHD picture on my >100 inch screen. Very happy with this purchase!

Affordable 4k Laser Projector but...
I purchased this projector in April 2021 because I wanted to upgrade to 4k and it was an affordable laser projector. I was really excited about this purchase, but I had to give it 2 stars because it freezes every time (no exaggeration) I am watching content (quite frustrating when you're watching a really good show/movie) & the black levels could be a lot darker.
