The highs are so aggressive that it feels like you're being screamed at. The mids are near non existent, around the crossover in particular everything is pushed back and distorted. Lows are boomy and unpleasant.
Male vocals below the crossover will sound god awful, female voices above the crossover are crushed and sound like they're coming from a tube. Harmonies sound off, several songs would have ringing sounds each time a harmony kicked in and pull you out of the music. The ringing isn't present on any other speaker I own.
I fell for the hype, hopefully you don't. There are better speakers at a similar price point and nearly every single one is a 3-way speaker.
