Product Information

42CWQ122 12" CompQ Subwoofer w/ Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coils

Experience every nuance of your bass. Thanks to outstanding power handling, next-level structural stability and a unique power plant, the CompQ™ discovers every note with miraculous detail. All with the highest RMS power rating Kicker ever achieved in a round subwoofer.

Stabilize

KICKER’s unique cone bracing technology ensures perfectly linear cone movement while the Blue Lace™ spider adds even more stability to the sub. You get unrivaled sonic accuracy and extraordinary volume.

Take the Power

A ceramic magnet and computer-optimized voice coil provide outstanding power handling, while the UniPlate™ pole piece & backplate ensure the CompQ stays cool, even under extreme power loads.

Join Forces

Spring-loaded copper terminals hold as much as an 8-gauge speaker wire, while extra thick tinsel leads bring all that music directly to the voice coil. You get every watt of power right where you want it.

The 12" CompQ 2 Ohm

The CompQ 12-Inch Subwoofer is the best sound quality round driver Kicker's ever made, with nearly identical construction and performance as their L7 square subs.

A cast aluminum frame provides an extremely stable, vibration-free base, so every note gets from the cone to your ears as pure as the day it was recorded.

The CompQ 12-Inch Subwoofer works best with a sealed or ported enclosure with 850 watts of recommended power.

How many watts is this?
A shopper on May 31, 2019
Hi and thanks for the inquiry! This subwoofer handles up to 850 watts of continuous power.
I have a 6000 watt amp will this handle it if I keep the power low and do you have a box for this?
Michael on Mar 5, 2020
Hi there! You will want to reference the owner's manual of your amplifier to see what the power is at 4 ohms. If it's around 850 watts, you'll be in good shape! Keep in mind that with a dual 2-ohm voice coil subwoofer, you can wire the subwoofer for a final impedance of either 1 ohm or 4 ohms. Hope this helps!
