Missing parts/caps to cover ends of the soundbar!
Where are my caps? Soundbar looks ugly and unfinished under the TV. Why in Europe they are included?

THIS SOUNDBAR IS A GAME CHANGER
I bought this soundbar at Bestbuy yesterday. HOLY MOLY.....what a difference a great soundbar can make! The detachable speakers is a game changer....you can move it anywhere in the room to get the best sound in proportion to where you are sitting. We've never had a subwoofer....literally felt like we were in a theater. We just sat and listened to music last night just to experience the sound. WOW!

Great sound but not wireless speakers
I bought the 9.1 JBL soundbar with wireless speakers BUT there is a terrible design flaw in my opinion. Our TV is on most of the day and the wireless speakers are docked to the soundbar. I will remove the speakers and put them in the corners of the room for the evening shows. Well, in an hour or so the soundbar shows "speaker low battery...needs charging". I found out that the speakers are using their battery even when docked to the soundbar. The speakers only charge when docked to the soundbar with the TV off and the soundbar is in standby. WOULDN'T you think that the batteries would stay charged while docked to the soundbar even when the TV is on??!! JBL's answer to the problem is plug in a charger with a USB cable. If I wanted cords I wouldn't have bought a soundbar system with wireless speakers. The soundbar sounds really good but I am returning it.

I’ve owned the 9.1 for a year now. Not a bit worth the $1200 I paid for it. The sound is unbelievable but you’ll get true 9.1 surround for 30 min during a movie. Then the rear speakers go out. I’m about to load this thing up and dump it off on JBLs front door step. Don’t waste your money

Very poor functionality
I have purchased several different soundbars, ranging from $200 to $1200 after purchasing this JBL 9.1 speakers. The functionality of these speakers are terrible. Connected to WIFI with ethernet wires, the speaker decides to connect to my wifi connected devices 2/10 attempts. I have had to reset my speakers to factory settings at least 8 times now after owning these speakers for less than 6 months. Its bluetooth function also works whenever it wants to. My $200 Sony soundbar was of much higher quality than this.

This soundbar is amazing, truly better surround and Atmos than my far more expensive sonos arc system with powered rear speakers. Bass is good but I just with the soundbar or sub had a pre amp out to add an additional subwoofer or if there was an options to pair more than one. that would make it a 5 star

Fantastic Soundbar
I bought this soundbar couple of weeks back. It is truly a fantastic soundbar. Subwoofer is quite good and listening to music is unbelievably great. One small disappointment is that there is a USB port but it cannot be used for listening music from USB sticks. Looks like it is meant for software updates etc., It would have been nice if you can use the USB port for listening to music.

Oof! It's doesn't charge while docked?!?!?
I bought this and returned it within 2 weeks. It does not charge the rear speakers while docked and "charging". If in use, the docked speakers use their batteries for power - regardless of position. Use within the workday guarantees lack of use after work.

Sucks to know that using the speakers to stream music means no movie time thereafter.

Whole situation is covered in weak sauce.

How long does it take to charge the satellites?

  Thanks for your question. JBL features and specifications state 10 hours playback and 3 hours to charge. Playback time may vary based upon playback volume. Its possible to get longer playback by charging longer than 3 hours.
Detachable speakers, how far can you put them from the sound and still working?

  Thanks for your question. There apps to connect to wifi and streaming music. At the present time we are unable to confirm if an app is available to provide the same control of soundbar settings as the IR remote to control.

You mention eARC under specifications, but I have not seen anywhere else confirm that this soundbar has eARC. Can you confirm that this has eARC? Likewise if it has HDMI 2.1.

  Thanks for your question. The JBL Bar 9.1 does indeed have an HDMI/ARC connection which would be connected via HDMI cable to TV HDMI/ARC. JBL has not published a specification regarding HDMI version. Given that the Bar 9.1 was released as a new product in January, 2020 it is very likely that it is HDMI 2.1 or better. Were sorry we cannot provide you with an absolute answer at the present time.
Can the bar be used while the satellite speakers are charging?
