Product Information

Spinbase is a compact all-in-one speaker system for turntables, designed for today's vinyl lover. It packs room-filling sound, simple operation, and easy connectivity in a compact package that sits comfortable under your favorite turntable. Spinbase also features Bluetooth for playing music wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

The Spinbase audio system utilizes a clever arrangement of two woofers and two tweeters to produce an expansive stereo image. Traditional component systems create "sweet spots", which only provide one ideal listening location. Spinbase fills the room with a surprisingly balanced sound stage, making every location the best place to listen.

Spinbase connects to any turntable (with magnetic or ceramic cartridge), whether it has a built-in preamp or not. The product also supports additionally auxiliary devices, such as music streamers or players.

Bass and Treble EQ controls are available on the back panel, so users can customer tune the sound of Spinbase to their preference.

Spinbase accomodates large size turntables, including the Numark TT-100, Technics SL-230, and Audio Technica LP-120

Great for a small space

Andover Spin Base
So I bought this spin base thing. It sounds OK though not the quality I was expecting based on the write-ups. Unfortunately the turntable I have requires a ground wire with a jack. Though that is not the fault of the spin base per se, it did end up being a huge problem as I could not find a replacement jack that either fit or functioned properly. That means I have an audible "hum" when I try to play records. Should have just gone with a cheap portable record player. Oh well.

No preamp in turntable will this work on AT 140 XP?

  Thanks for your inquiry. The SpinBase has a built in Phono Pre-Amp. It will accommodate the AT MM cartridge on the AT140XP turntable.
Does the SpinBase speaker system cause any vibration that gets to the turntable? I would think that there would be some vibration interaction that could muddy the sound at higher volumes.
