One of the biggest hits at CES 2018 wasn’t a robot, it was a player piano so beautiful, so powerful, and most of all so human – it captivated all who came near. And because words fall short, Cunningham Pianos of King of Prussia is lending us one so you can see, hear, and experience for yourself what may just be the most perfect amalgam of man and machinery yet.
The Disklavier Enspire can perfectly replicate nuanced performances by piano greats Elton John, Sarah McLachlan, Frederic Chiu and others – live – in your living room, as they perform. Imagine, Elton John at his piano, in concert at Wembley stadium… and every single note and nuance (including any mistakes!) is instantly and perfectly replicated on a Yamaha Enspire in your own living room – an ocean away. Like he’s on stage, at your house.
The Disklavier Enspire also has an extensive library of piano music – and it’s great to play yourself! Yamaha pianos are unparalleled in their beauty, musical range and creative flexibility. The Disklavier piano connects to Yamaha MusicCast products, so you can listen to the piano in every room in your home.
Classically trained with a theater background and widely regarded as one of the east coast’s most accomplished blues singers, New York’s own Arlyn Wolters calls Philadelphia home these days. Currently, Arlyn is the lead vocalist for the “The Dukes of Destiny,” though she often performs solo with piano great Reverend Chris Marsceill on stages in and around the area.
Arlyn’s love of the blues came by way of Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Koko Taylor and Junior Wells, whom she followed from venue to venue. Among her many artistic achievments, Arlyn once landed the role of Janis Joplin (a role that fit her like a glove) in the Downstairs Cabaret Production of “Beehive.” Arlyn keeps busy, and you can catch her show at any number of venues and blues festivals in the area. Special thanks to our local partner, Cunningham Piano Company, who will be providing the Yamaha Disklavier Enspire piano for the event.
