The ASP-OE8 is a sophisticated processor with low impedance, high voltage inputs designed to accept the high power speaker level signal from a factory stereo head unit, and send out a clean, distortion-free preamp level signal. With the ASP-OE8 the consumer can create a true High-end sound system without the limitations of the factory amplifier and speakers. To ensure that you get audiophile-level sound with the ASP-OE8, Zapco uses the same Elna Silmic ll caps and OP275 op-amps that we use in the Pro Competition Z-Series LX amplifiers. The remote-mounted power supply assures you the best possible signal with the least noise. With the ASP-0E8, your car can sound every bit as good as it would sound if you used a top-grade after-marker head unit.

Bass Recovery
If you are driving a fairly new car, you’ve probably noticed that when you turn up the volume of the system the bass seem to drop out. That’s because the automakers are actively equalizing your system to protect the factory speaker. Even when you add amplifiers and speakers to the car, that factory head unit will still pull out the bass frequencies when you turn up the volume. The ASP-OE8 can seamlessly put the bass back into the system regardless of the head unit volume control, so you can leave the amp gains down and get crystal clear mids and highs and rock-solid bass from the factory head unit at every volume.
