Rega’s Fono MC Phono Stage boosts the ultra-low signal of a moving-coil cartridge to match the line-level inputs of any modern amplifier, preamp, or powered speakers. Styled to match the look of Rega’s entire line of electronics (and perfect with Rega’s Planar 6/Ania cartridge combo), the Fono MC nonetheless will bring the finest out of any of today’s moving-coil cartridges. You get adjustable impedance and capacitance switches to match the circuitry perfectly to the cartridge (ultra-low level inputs are particularly susceptible to load variations). You get switchable gain, all-analog circuitry using top-quality, low-noise discrete components. And the whole thing is hand-assembled and tested in Rega’s factory in the southeast of England.
