I bought Q60B last november. While the soundbar itself is good, the sound of subwoofer is non-existent. You have to literally put your hand on it to make sure it is still working. I regret every penny I spent on this model.
I am very disappointed with the Q60B Sound Bar. As far as the spoken voice goes, it sounds great! But as for any type of sound effect, there is none at all. The Subwoofer is very weak. I love Samsung products!! But just not this one.
This soundbar is not supported by SmartThings app. The bass is too weak, even set on 6 (highest setting). I thought I received a brand new unopened product, although the serial number on the soundbar doesn’t match the serial number on the box. This prevented me from being able to return it. I would have paid more for a more powerful system if I was able to return this one.
from dvd music videos to firestick and directv with bluetooth to my phone. laptop and tablet the sound quality is outstanding and plenty loud. love it and will definitely recommend this to all my friends. using the optical input and added a 5 way hdmi switch, couldn't be happier. merry christmas to me.
well, well... let's knock on wood. I've been using it for 10 days now and so far so good... At first I was afraid of the previous reviews, but I took a chance and this soundbar is worth every penny spent! works and sounds great! then I bought compatible rear speakers, but returned these toys back. HW-Q60B/ZA works fine without them. Of course, you can spend 5 or even 10 times more and buy something better, but personally, I'm very much satisfied with this item...
due to some poor reviews i noticed and have read, i was expecting some difficulties and disappointments. to my surprise, this product is excellent in sound quality and ease of setting up. i connected it to my 75in. samsung qled 2021 tv via hdmi e-arc and the base sound is incredible on the wi-fi subwoofer. my wife and i tuned the tv into a music video on the internet and we felt like dancing to our favorite disco of the 80s.
It is a love hate relationship. My samsung tv is a good 5 years old. I have it connected via samsung arc. With it on default settings, I coudn't figure out why I had it working and then no sound. I reset the bar, I unplugged it. I tried everything. And then I tried something: I unplugged the tv and the soundbar's power. Powered the tv up, then powered the soundbar. Worked great. Next day after turning the tv off, had to do the same thing. With much frustration I decided to try turning the soundbar on before the tv. VOILA. It has worked every time without a hitch. AS LONG as I turn the soundbar on, and THEN the tv. OH.....and the lack of any manual with detailed instructions other than hooking it up is pretty disappointing. I had to find any help (including how to reset it) from the internet.
Bought online from Amazon, great price and quick delivery. Easy setup and soundbar sounds great, but I added SWA-9100S rear speakers kit to get true 5.1 ch surround sound. Entire Samsung package works great and I’m glad I bought it.
Purchased soundbar from Samsung. Worked for 1 hour. Technical Support determined it was defective. Shipped back. Received new, second one. Worked for 2 days then nothing. Shows connected to TV but no sound. Connected it to two different iPhones via Bluetooth. Soundbar shows connection, but still no sound. Customer Support says second one is defective. Ecommerce team wants me to send back for a replacement. The item is garbage.
as the title states, the first one i received wouldnt work at all, the sound bar and woofer would not connect. i deal with samsung customer support and sent it off, they deemed it worthy of a replacement and sent me a new one that only worked for about 40 minutes until it would no longer produce sound on any mode, even after following through with all troubleshooting steps it still doesnt work. very upsetting to have to deal with this twice.
after a few days of using this soundbar, the sound simply cut off and it was not possible to get it back. no matter what the connection was, the sound simply did not come out of the soundbar, even though the connected device showed that connection is ok and there should be no problem with the sound. i bought the tv and soundbar set worth approx. eur 1000, so it is very devastating to have to deal with the warranty issues so soon after the purchase. absolutely regret the purchase, especially since the service was super inconvenient for the client (service at home not available, working hours 9-18).
set up and started working without issue. stopped working within 1-2 hrs. had to send to back for repairs. was contacted and told that it could not be repaired and was offered a q600b...looked at the reviews for that system...turns out that one stops working after around 1-2 hours too. smh. if you buy...use costco for the customer service. you'll need it.
amazing soundbar for the price, sound is pretty amazing for a 3.1 channel.
sync's really well with my samsung neo qn85da tv in q-symphony.
the only issue is no app support, so you cannot control the different sound modes via the any app and you need to change it through the tv settings. an app support will be really helpful in the future for changing sound modes and updating firmware which needs to be done via a usb as of now.
