What do i use to protect textile from the spikes?

Thanks for your question. Good question but tough answers. Will the spikes attach under a speaker? The weight of the speaker may allow the spikes to press into the fabric (textile) assuming it is not to fine or too thin. Putting a small caster under spikes somewhat defeats the purpose of the spikes. Removing the textiles may be an option. Spikes generally sit on / in carpet and work effectively.
