I agonized over purchasing this 110 the 310 or the 710. I am so happy with this 110,it is more portable, lasts a very long time and has great sound…not as loud as the 310 or 710, but perfect for backyard barbecues,pool days and boating days out on the islands.

Partybox super powerful strong bass clean sound super recommend

I used this speaker for one charge, and now the battery will not charge at all. I have downloaded new software etc, but it just wont charge…

I bought one, a week later bought another. I now have 4. These are the best all-around speaker for your house, yard, boat....etc.

I hate (really love) to say this, but I feel like I would have paid more for this! Very happy with the purchase. Sound quality is excellent and really fills a room. The light effects take it to the next level. All in all I have no complaints, the build quality is excellent and overall the whole package is truly worth every penny. I can't wait to bring to life the next family party we host.

I bought 2 speakers for the stereo imaging and they work great. I was afraid that the base would be too strong for my acoustic music. The base is strong but it handles acoustics well too. Syncing up the two speakers does require extra button pushes from the back of the speakers every time they are powered up, which is not the most convenient, but it's a great feature.

If you plan to make the gadget a true party centerpiece, consider an offering that’s capable of delivering multidirectional, 360-degree audio. Additional cool features like built-in lights and the ability to charge your phone or other gadgets are also worth considering.

This is the first time where I had to turn the bass down! Awesome portable bass!!!

The speaker just arrived today and initial thoughts on it are all positive. It has excellent bass and it's just right, not too much bass but not too little either. This speaker is an upgrade from my extreme 2. As a test, we put an extreme 2, boombox 2 and the party box 110 side by side and the pb110 was better in every way. The only downside was the weight compared to the other speakers, it's a little bit heavier and has no wheels like the pb310 but I can still manage. I would also recommend playing music on the pb110 while being plugged in. It will use its full power and potential. Hope this helps!

I bought this because I loved my friends speaker, she has the Partybox 100 and it’s amazing! I was very impressed by the sound and how it was a wireless device. I was going to buy the 100 but I saw that you were releasing the 110 so I waited and purchased it. So glad that I did! I love that this one has the JBL App that has the different color modes and features! The sound on this one is amazing! It definitely booms and the tweeters give it that clear loudness. The bass boost is nice too I can’t wait to use this at our next family function!

I just received mine and out of the box it had decent battery life and sounded amazing. We used it plugged in to kept it charging, and little to our knowledge, it was never charging. It still will not charge after trying different cords and outlets. It is basically unusable after 3 hours. This might just be a defective unit.

Solid build quality, great sound quality. The lights are really nice, but the bass boost setting could use some tuning.

The actual sound quality is solid, the tuning is slightly v shaped with some added warmth. The sound stage is solid.

The JBL Party Box 110 is the best Bluetooth speaker I've ever heard, Bar none! It is so easy to use, and the charge seemed to last forever. I got stuck in a downpour and it didn't miss a beat. The Bass Boost really sets it apart from the competition, and the gain makes it a great practice amp for my Guitar. You ROCK, JBL!!!

I got the speaker a little less than a month ago and it's already my favorite thing to take everywhere with me this summer. Even as large as it is, it's still very portable. I went on a trip to visit family and took it with me. We used it for music while having an outdoor dinner party then again hooked it up while watching movies on my mom's outside projector. We've also brought it out for our neighborhood block parties and I'm pretty sure a few of my neighbors will be buying their own. The speaker has amazing bass and sound quality and is very user friendly. Anyone that has used ours is surprised at how easy it is to use. Also has spots to hook up a mic or guitar. I might just have to host a karaoke night and try out the extra features.

I LOVE the Partybox 110 for how it has transformed cooking dinner. Previously, I had a smaller speaker and have always loved to listen to music loud while cooking. But the old speaker started crackling and just didn't have the bass I wanted. The Partybox is big (physically) and is super loud with a pure sound. I don't use the lights feature so much (my kids do!) but it is mesmerizing to watch. I also use the Partybox out on the back porch when I do my weights workout. It is light enough to carry easily and the battery charge holds for several hours. Lastly, we have taken the Partybox out on the lake. I feel like it is durable for the waves and definitely splash-proof. The electronics are concealed with a nice, tight cover. The only feature we haven't used yet is the microphone but I'm looking forward to ordering on and having karaoke on it with family and friends!

This equipment was sent to me by JBL, and I just want to say that I love it!
I have other several JBL portable speakers and headphones, though none as tall as this one! I use ALL OF THEM at different times in different locations. People tell me all the time to turn my "system" down, I'm like, "what system?", lol!

Anyway, I do have a few CONS!

1. There is no app that is compatible with this party box, ONLY the higher model numbers. Upon opening the box, it said to download the JBL party box app, but the 110 is NOT COMPATIBLE!

2. SINCE the app is not compatible with this model, I can't program a cool light display like the higher models. Another bummer!

3. Battery life: what else can you say...

Other than those few CONS, this unit is great for me! Like I said, I love JBL speakers and headphones as I own lots of them.!
Go check this unit out of you want a nice party box for a small gathering with BIG SOUNDS..!!

I received this speaker just in time for my cousin's birthday celebration. Love the lights, and how they match the music. The sound was excellent. Everyone gave me compliments on it. I love that it can be cordless, because we were able to move it and place it anywhere. It's a bit heavy, but it has the two handles that are helpful to carry it.

This is by far the most versatile speaker that I have ever had. Here are some of the key highlights:
1. Signature JBL sound with adjustable BASS, DJ and Lighting effects (via. the JBL PARTYBOX app.)
2. Great Battery life with USB port to charge Phone / Tablet. Even has a slot on top to keep the phone / tablet
3. Karaoke ready with multiple input ports for Mic and Guitar with adjustable controls
4. Ability to pair two speakers for surround stereo sound
5. Pool party ready IPX4 splash proof casing

I have spent some time enjoying this speaker and here is what I have found. To get some of the basics out of the way:
#1 I ran it comepletely dead and timed the charge time. I did this after fully charging it first. It took approximately 3 hours. Not bad considering the battery life.
#2 I hooked it to my TV. The vocal quality is great. The bass is nice but is does overpower the mids if the bass boost is on. I got 12 hours of listening at normal TV levels.
#3 I tested the bluetooth range in my yard. If you have a clear line of sight it is between 75 and 100 yards.
#4 The sound carries very well. I could here it clearly to a little over 100 yards. The actual sound carried farther. It did not seem overly loud. At full volume my son and I could stand next to it and hear each other.
#5 I bought a cheap microphone and experimented with a little karaoke. I had to play with the gain for different songs but it seemed to work pretty good. My daughter has been in a couple plays and I liked the way it sounded. It is a little echo sounding just talking.

In conclusion it is like having a portable high quality stereo. I was not able to hook it up to the app for some reason. It was a little bigger than I expected. The bass is amazing. If you have a party and are looking for high quality sound I definitely recommend it. Cheaper than a DJ.

Great speaker for the money and price point. If you're looking for a speaker with bass and th ability to control tht bass...this is the one for you.

The speaker has great build quality and toughness. The lights make for great entertainment and the fact you can daisy chain with existing jbl speakers is a huge plus.

One down fall is it doesn't come with a cord for your car like the previous jbl partybox 200 that I have. That was a nice feature but this cord is not available in the box. You can hook up a guitar, sync the lights with the beat via the app, 12 hours of play time which is incredible for this size of speaker and so many more options.

Just a great overall speaker in my opinion, just a tad smaller than the partybox 200. It also slighty angles back on its stance which is nice vs the party box 200 straight stance.

I'd definitely recommend to anyone who is a music lover as I definitely enjoy this at the beach and any outdoor party setting by the pool or lounge. Great to have around and jam to.

Well I can’t tell you how happy I am with this speaker. The sound quality is amazing. The bass boost feels like a concert is happening in my yard. And the dancing lights just kick it all up a notch! My husband plans on using it with his guitar as an amp. Will update on that in the near future.

I really like this speaker! It's impressive and everyone I've shown it too has loved it. Would be great for tailgating or any kind of party.

Pros:
- Great bass. Offers 2 levels of bass boost.
- Easy setup. Out of box and working within a few minutes.
- Portable for it's size. It's big, but has 2 solid handles and can sit upright or lay on either side.
- Individual volume controls for both inputs. I used it for karaoke and this was a great setting.
- Ability to play music from different sources. USB, Bluetooth, or aux cable.
- Great battery life.
- Simple controls.
- Nice light show. Can change the colors or just turn off if it's not your thing.

Cons:
- Not the cleanest sound. Bass boost will drown out the highs.
- Can only connect to other Party Boxes. Wish I could connect with other JBL speakers like the Charge or Flip.
- I couldn't use the app. It wouldn't find the speaker.

Got this just in time for a family gathering and it sounds great. The bass sounds good even at max volume with little to no distortion.

Talk about a "party in a box", this speaker is so much more than great sound, its fun! My teens had hours of fun with a microphone plugged in doing karaoke. The lights go along with the sound and are kind of mesmerizing to watch. We appreciated the splash proof feature so we could bring tunes outside by the pool. The sound is powerful even on low. You can have a microphone and guitar plugged in at the same time, bonus! We are pleased with this wireless JBL Partybox 110 - it is easy to carry with us for outdoor tunes.

The sound on the JBL Partybox 110 is awesome! This speaker brings the sound to the party with bass! The light up speaker sound is so cool. Used the speaker for an outdoor party and also for an outdoor movie night. One person said the sound was like being at the movie theater. This speaker is also built like a waterproof tank. The speaker will get a lot of use.

The JBL PartyBox 110 is a hoss of a speaker! This thing (23 lbs.) should have come with two rolling suitcase wheels. The dynamic LED light show put on by the speaker is very fluid like, with seemingly endless patterns and variations.

This speaker has three levels of bass. The first is normal (or low). With the push of the Bass Boost button (medium) this speaker has a ‘kick in the pants’ sound to it. With another push of the Bass Boost, it's ‘I’ll talk to you later after this song is over’. I only managed to turn the volume knob to 50% before my ears said ‘uncle’.

But the sound QUALITY! Oh, my stars…. I have never heard such CLEAR and PURE sound in my life. The matching 55mm tweeters and matching 154.6mm woofers deliver a symphony of rich and very clean sounding music. If you close your eyes, you would think you’re on the sound stage at any of the world’s best venues. The sound output is absolutely incredible!

The fit and finish of this speaker is first rate, and so typical of the JBL badge. The top-mounted are very minimalistic and user friendly. The inputs include Bluetooth, USB, Aux Line In and Out, 1/4” microphone and guitar inputs (with +/- Gain Controls for each) Orange rubberized bumpers and handles will guarantee a lifetime of speaker performance. Use the PartyBox app for total control as you stream your tunes wirelessly.

Love the sound. Especially the bass. Great sound both indoors and outdoors. Really easy to connect to Bluetooth. Very nice look and not very heavy so it will definitely travel along to the next party. Look forward to using to enhance sound of my tv too. Good sound from guitar as well. There are many new things in the Party Box 110. First of all, the quality of bass and treble is noticeable better. The different options with the lights makes it more attractive.
The possibility of pairing it with a second or more speakers makes it even better. I’m planning to get another one. The size is perfect for bringing it with you anywhere.

The JBL 110 is a nice upgrade to your current partybox inventory. This speaker is slightly larger in both size and speaker capacity. Has an improved light display, water/dust resistant improvements, battery life of 12 hours, and (2) YES! You heard that right (2) bass boosts!

Design :

The JBL PartyBox 110 is very similar to the PartyBox 100 design. It is slightly larger, has sealed covers for the ports and knobs, and has a nice turn knob function on top for the volume and light controls. It still carries the 2 handles on the top and bottom (which are very nice due to the weight) and rubber bumpers on the side for protection.

Sound :

This speaker doesn’t disappoint! The highs and mods are very prevalent and the bass can shake the room depending on the location and bass boost selected. When listening to rock the middle and highs are sharp and crisp (I did find the bass lacking some however). With hip hop the bass was the best and had a nice thump to it. Country music was well rounded with bass and mids.

Convenience :

While the JBL PartyBox 110 is designed to take anywhere, I did find it a little hard to lug around. The sheer weight is enough sometimes for me to leave it at home. On another note I also found on the startup instructions that this speaker could connect to the JBL PartyBox app. I was pretty excited for this until I figured out that the app only accepts the JBL PartBox 310 currently. I would like to see JBL include more speakers for this app in the future.

Overall Thoughts :

For a small gathering or home party this speaker will not disappoint! The sound and light features will be a show stopper for your next event. For JBL to take this speaker to the next level add an ability to connect to the PartyBox App and a way to EQ the sound.

This speaker is insane! The sound fills my whole house! And I can even play my guitar on it. I love the changeable light show and the bass boost is just incomparable. This party box sounds better than the system in my car. I showed my brother this thing and he immediately wanted to buy one.

I have had the Party box 101 for about 24 hours and here is my initial review. Out of the box it was simple to connect and once I did I was immediately blown away. I couldn't believe how clean the drivers pushed the lows and mid lows. It sounds like a stage monitor. And the and everything else falls right into place. It is a top notch bluetooth speaker.I love that I can pair it with my charge and have an immersive experience. I haven't used the plugins as of now for the mic and the guitar, but will review asap. The weight is a bit much for a bluetooth speaker, but I think thats what lets you know you are about to experience something real. Overall I enjoy this speaker a whole lot and can't wait to see what Jbl does next.

This speaker is phenomenal! The sound is amazing! It is definitely the speaker you want for a large party. We had around 100 people over for a party and this speaker kept our guests dancing all night long. The next day the leftover kids were using it for karaoke and having a blast. Yes, it is easy enough for the kiddos to figure out (and grandma, too)! The bass and crystal clear sound are what JBL is known for and they knocked it out of the park with this one. I cannot wait to take it tailgating! You will not find a better speaker this size out there.

I have a collection of speakers and it takes a lot for me to say that this Partybox 100 is a new favorite of the bunch. Its unique light show display combined with its impressive sound strength sets it above and beyond in my book - especially for its mid-tier size. If you're looking for a reliable speaker to host your parties without breaking the bank, this one should be a serious contender - here’s why:

Sound

There’s no denying the strength of this speaker and its ability to perform. The sound is balanced and provides a deep bass that can be easily increased with a few presses of a button. I was impressed to feel my room vibrating to the bass of this speaker with it turned all the way up. The sound is a solid 5 considering its size and price.

Light Show

The light show on this unit is simply awesome. The lights emulate the sound well and it’s a bonus that you can choose from four different light show types. I’ve enjoyed cycling through the different displays and seeing how each one matches the treble and bass of a song. The only aspect I wish I could change is the ability to turn off the strobe lights. Although they add a certain coolness factor, I just wish I had some control over the two strobe lights at the top and bottom of the speaker.

Mobility

At almost 2 feet tall, I was expecting this thing to not only be heavy but also be pretty awkward. It's surprisingly light and with well-placed handles I can easily move it around with little trouble. Smaller people may have some trouble with it (I’m 6’1, but overall it’s a great speaker to throw in the trunk on your way to a party.

Bluetooth

The range of this speaker is solid - I walked all around my house with my phone without any trouble. It took walking outside and down my driveway to eventually start losing connection. This is important especially regarding its intent as a party speaker - if I bring this to a party I don’t want to be anchored next to it the whole night. Based on my testing, I won’t be.

PartyBox 100’s can only connect with other PartyBox 100’s if you want dual speakers (or more). That’s a problem if you decide to get the next speaker up like the PartyBox 200 or maybe even the 300. But if you stay in the 100’s and you have a modern smartphone capable of connecting to several devices, you should be good for hooking up to multiple speakers via Bluetooth.

Interface/Accessibility

Sometimes interface simplicity can be a drawback, but in this case it’s great. When I get to a party, I want to be able to turn on the speaker, connect, and play. No tuning or small adjustments, just good sound now. That’s exactly what this speaker does. I turn it on, connect, press the bass button twice and everything’s good to go.

If you need to connect via AUX or USB, you just flip open the back and there’s an input for each. It was a bonus to see you can also hook up a microphone for karaoke nights or an electric guitar for the musicians out there. These components give it more range of use and add some extra value.

Battery

I’ve played this speaker for 3 hours at full blast with the bass booster on full and it still has half its battery left. That is awesome.

If I kept it on half volume I am confident it could last 10-12 hours which is more than I’d need for just about any party. After 3 hours of playtime at full capacity, I didn’t see any difference in sound or quality from this speaker. Its sound strength has remained consistent and continues to stay consistent as I use it.

Overall

I genuinely enjoy this speaker whether I’m at a party or just partying on my own. It’s the speaker’s ability to cover the basics (sound, battery life, Bluetooth range) and provide extra features like its mobility, simplicity, and of course, the light show, that makes it a go-to speaker for me. It really is super cool and I look forward to using it for years to come.

The unit is light and appeared to be well constructed. The partybox app connection is problematic despite of the supposedly improved functionality. The other thing I don’t like is that without the ability to turn off the strobes on both top and bottom of the main drivers. Other than the these two issues the unit itself performed well for a Bluetooth speaker with good volume and sound quality.

My new PartyBox 110 far exceeds my expectations. I’ve been looking for a great multi purpose speaker to satisfy my yearning for an old school stereo system with the convince and technology of today’s electronics. This speaker is the answer. I finally found my sound system I can run completely wirelessly from my phone or laptop. Mega bonus points for the “party pack” allowing me to run a microphone or do karaoke complete with an amazing adjustable light show and even a guitar input for when Jimi comes down to jam!
