This is the third Focal pair of speakers I have bought. PC165F, ICU165 and this one, PS165FE. There are no words to describe how happy I am with their performance. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! As regards the PS165FE it has transformed my car into a recording studio. Well done!

AMAZING SOUND! The speakers work well under power. I advise with a sub and a crossover frequency from the amplifier or dsp/crossover of 170 to 200hz. I have a focal E 25 KX 10 inch sub at a crossover frequency of 230hz. the max of the amplifier. The tweeters in off axis configuration can be angled at any angle and it rocks. If they are pointed right at you you will hear the one closest to you more clearly and obviously coming from the left. If not it is SO nice that it doesn't matter which angle you point them. VERY convenient. THEY SOUND AMAZING!!
