The sound no where compares to Bose speakers.
If you are planning to use it for media room, maybe go for higher model like prime bookshelf or ultra.

My system; Yamaha Atmos receiver (RX-A3050-Factory Refurb $900 Accessories-4-Less), Front: SVS Prime Bookshelf (2), Center: SVS Prime Center (1), Surround: SVS Prime Satellite (8), Subs: SVS SB12-NSD (2). I also use a Class D 65w/ch amp (Aiyima A07 $65 Amazon) for Rear Surround channels. All SVS products were purchased new. I also have a Panasonic UB820 Ultra Blu-ray player and 77" LG OLED.
I was able to keep my SVS purchase to around 5k with the Prime Speaker system and subs. I wanted the mains to be matched to the Prime Center drivers, hence the Prime Bookshelves. Having the matched Prime Satellites was also important to me. My first SVS system purchased 20 years ago was a very heavy $7000 Cherry Wood 5.2 system that I loved, but it had become too heavy for me to keep.
I can say with confidence that a 7.2.4 SVS Prime system offers stunning atmospherics across the audio spectrum as long as you don't skimp on mains and subs. If you're concerned about enough SPL for your taste, I would point you to larger subs, then to larger mains, then to separates for more wattage. For me, it's not necessary with my small room.
Last night I received the final piece to my system and watched Moonfall in Atmos and the SVS system delivered a totally immersive, stunning, and impactful experience that was immensely satisfying to watch! I can always depend on SVS to provide quality and excellent customer service.
