I highly recommend both cylinder models if you have limited floor space or need to be able to hide the enclosure(s) in a multi-use area like mine. They allow for the use of a ported subwoofer while only occupying the horizontal area of a sealed model. If you have a very large space and/or crave tactile bass then spring for the PC-4000 - it's in a higher class, hence the premium price. You get what you pay for.
Thanks again to all the folks at SVS for a great customer service experience!

That said, I have a medium sized living area where my home theater is set-up and am limited to corner placement of my TV and A/V equipment (small footprint needed). I can only have a 3.1 set-up due to this and the fact that there's no way surround speakers would fit aesthetically in our space. I have the prime bookshelf speakers on stands and a prime center speaker. Subwoofer placement needs to be behind our media cabinet in the corner of the room. I had originally bought the SB-1000 Pro due to the limited space and that it would fit perfectly back there. Awesome system that I enjoyed for 6 months, but began to want something a bit more due to some lulls/dead spots in the bass response in certain areas of the room. Discussed with Jonathan about adding another SB-1000 Pro or an SB-2000 Pro and trying to hide it behind a couch at the other end of the room to help balance out the dead spots. He mentioned I could do that, but wondered if I considered the PC-2000 Pro for my situation instead of running dual SB's. We talked about the advantages of the PC-2000 Pro over the SB's and how it would fit perfectly in the spot behind my TV and give me some extra "umph" with this being ported vs sealed. After a few minutes deliberating, I decided to give the PC-2000 Pro a try.
I've now had it up and running for a week and am absolutely floored with this thing. The dead spots in my room are gone, and the extra power of this over the SB-1000 Pro is very noticeable. Watched a few Marvel movies this past weekend and holy crap what a difference. The bass is downright visceral in movies compared to the SB-1000 Pro (and the 1000 Pro is absolutely no slouch at all).
In closing, I couldn't possibly be happier with the PC-2000 Pro. The SB-1000 Pro I had in my living room has been moved to my garage system which is the perfect match for listening to only music.
Huge thanks again to Jonathan as he even called me a day later to walk me through some settings in the SVS App.
