Legendary Sony Sound

It's time to upgrade your headphones. Cut the cord, turn up the bass and experience the sound and quality that made Sony famous. Whether you are a fan of Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, EDM, Pop, or any other music genre, Sony’s MDR-XB950BT Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones with Extra Bass will let you experience all of the deep, powerful low-end you have been missing with your current headphones without sacrificing any detail of your music.

All About the Bass

When it comes to low-end performance, other headphones don’t accurately capture the complex bass sounds found in today’s popular music. They either sound too thin or too muddy. With Sony’s MDR-XB950BT Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones, you hear the right amount of bass no matter the song, artist, or genre. With a switch of a button, the built-in bass enhancer lets you increase the low-end frequency, so you can crank the bass, or back off the bottom end whenever you want. Whatever your musical preference, these headphones produce powerful, balanced audio – from Tiësto to Tchaikovsky and everything in between. Only Sony over-ear headphones can deliver this level of performance!

Wireless Bluetooth Connectivity

You don’t have to worry about accidentally yanking these headphones from your head every time you move your arms. The Sony MDR-XB950BT have built-in Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to connect wirelessly to your Smartphone, tablet, computer, media player, or just about any other device that supports Bluetooth technology. You can even answer incoming calls on your phone, skip songs, and control the volume right from your headphones.

Built to Last

These Sony Headphones were made with your lifestyle in mind. Whether you’re at the gym, commuting to work, or showing off your latest dance moves at a silent rave, the MDR-XB950BT will keep up with you. The cushioned earpads and headband provide long-lasting comfort, and the built-in rechargeable battery gives you 20 hours of non-stop listening pleasure. When your battery runs low, simply switch your headphones to passive mode, connect the supplied cable, and listen to your music without any interruption.

Dynamic Soundstage

These headphones may be designed with today’s bass-heavy music in mind, but they are good for so much more. Sony built the MDR-XB950BT with a wide frequency range so you can pick up the lowest sub-bass notes and still hear the subtle breaths a singer takes between lyrics. These on-ear phones are highly sensitive, perfect for capturing the detail of your music at any volume.

High-Quality Components

Buried inside the earpads of these headphones, you will find dynamic Neodymium drivers – tiny magnets that balance the details of your music, from kick drums to vocal runs. Combined with a flexible diaphragm, you can play music at loud volumes without hearing any unwanted distortion. These headphones produce, crisp highs, lush mids, and powerful lows -- reproducing sound exactly as the artist intended it.

Very good over ear bluetooth headphones

I was looking for a reasonably priced bluetooth over-ear headphone and based on several reviews online I decided on these. For those that are looking for a high emphasis on bass, these are excellent. My main problem with these headphones is a constant clicking sound during playback that I can't resolve. I use the headphones mostly in a busy gym. After reviewing knowledge articles on Sony support site, they still have the clicking noise (though much less). I have yet to try other bluetooth earphones to see if a crowded gym with many other bluetooth devices could be an issue. I would still recommend these headphones based on sound quality, comfort and price.
