bad product
bad product does not work directly on the phone, the customer has to buy another device for the camera to connect, this device costs more than the camera itself, beware you may fall into a trap,

Keeps disconnecting
The camera has great security features, but the motion doesn't detect the difference between humans and other motion very well. The camera disconnects almost on daily basis. Overall great Idea but needs updates or not ready for primetime

it can only record 10 seconds of playback, and only cloud storage, even if you pay for it at $8 a month it can only store 60 seconds. there is no way to hook it into any existing system in your home. total waste. DO NOT BUY...

So I have a total of 4 ST Cams, for a couple months now and for the most part it works. Out of my 4 cams, 1 gives me the absolute most trouble with staying connected. This 1 cam status is "disconnected" half the time. Sometime it works fine...other times it works very poorly. I've deleted it and reinstalled it. I've unplugged it many times and still same issues. I find myself most of the time just keeping it unplugged, as its not in a must have spot. All cameras get and stay very hot to the touch. If you’re in the market for a camera, be mindful seems like some of these cams are suspect.

Will not connect at all. I have many Smartthings connected and no problems. I've wasted 5 hours trying to get this camera to work and it will not work!

Camera picture quality is good, but the the paid subscription cost to get a usable clip is WAY TO STEEP!!! The 10 second clip on free plan is absolutely useless. The time delay to get a notification that the camera is activated and actually getting the feed to open in Smartthings App is between 20 and 30 seconds [using S10+, firmware is up to date]. So if you need to see what actually is happening, you will never be able to. Am I really supposed to keep the live feed running 24/7 to see the event that trigger the need to record!? I already have a Samsung cloud account with available storage, why can't it it be linked to that and extend the record time? Will likely be replacing both ST Cams soon. Lesson learned - do not buy the initial release of any Smart products.

Great images
I recently went on vacation and we planted this camera over my son’s car and just to capture anyone that comes and goes. We are so pleased with this camera. The images are so clear that you can see exactly who comes and goes. Best camera ever

Cool camera! Quality picture!
I got this camera as a backup security feature for my apt. I am a big fan of the smart things app as I already use their WiFi outlet plugs for my AC units. I love their plugs, so I figured it made sense to pick one of these up. So far I have really enjoyed it. I dog sitting for a family member and was able to feel at ease that everything was alright while I was away from the house. I highly recommend for a pet friendly solution.

Was so excited but extremely disappointed
We purchased one and right out of the package something inside the camera rattled. We installed it which was easy and it all looked great. A few hours later the camera was offline with a message in the ST app to reinstall the camera. The camera itself was extremely hot so I thought it may be defective so we returned and tried a second one... again set up was easy; picture was great but again the camera repeatedly goes offline and I have to install the camera at least 5 times in 2 days. I'm trying to research the issue but so far I can not figure out why it continues to lose it's connection. I do not feel this camera is reliable at all and if I can not get consistent performance then this one will be returned as well. I have other Samsung products and multiple smart home items and this by far is the most frustrating to deal with.

Dope Product!
I was in the market for my first indoor cam, when I came across a youtuber who reviewed this cam. By the end of the video I was sold. The feats, the price, and the fact that I am a Samsung fan, was enough for me to buy two!
So far this is a dope product! Very easy to set up. Night mode is great. So crazy how much detail it is able to pick up in a completely dark room.
For this to be my first cam, I'm pleased.
However....I do have to say that this cam does get VERY hot to the touch. LIke really hot! Almost makes me feel like it's going to destroy itself because of it. Not sure how much heat it can take before it malfunctions.
I've had the cam set up for about 4 days now and for some reason, on one day I wasn't able to access the live footage. The smart things app came kept saying that the cam was disconnected. I knew for a fact that it wasn't, but the app said otherwise. I was at work at the time, so I had to wait until i got home to see, and felt that it was extremely hot. I then unplug it and plug it back in, Basically reboot it, after that it reconnected so that I could watch a live feed from my phone. Im thinking the fact that it was soo hot could have been the reason as to why it was "not connected". Maybe it's something that can be fixed with some sort of software update.
As of right now, its not a big deal for me, but i'll definitely keep track on how many time it disconnects itself. other than that....I like it.
