Wound not buy
got 3 camras. all 3 cameras never stay connected and i am always having to reset them. pain in the bit to take them down scan then put them back up. wish i did not spend my money on them.

unfortunately my review is too long for this, so i've cut it down drastically. don't buy these cameras.

coming from a techy household, we have nothing but problems with these. hundreds of clips will record in a day, but then it will randomly say they can't be found when you try to watch them. cameras will also periodically disconnect, with no notification. i have to reset both cameras every few days, which defeats the purpose. the quality and features are great when they work, but i've been fighting these for over a year, and there's no support available. after having a house full of samsung products, i'm incredibly disappointed in these.

i was really hoping to one of the people that left a great review about this camera. not sure how people are getting these cameras to work properly. very easy to set up. impossible to keep them connected. i'm going to try and send them back.

this is easily the worst system i've ever encountered. it's so bad and so unbelievably frustrating and maddening to use. samsung should ditch this system entirely. the app is clunky and only works sometimes. the cameras lose connection then have to be unplugged and replugged to regain connection. i have good signal strength - 1 is 10 feet from my router & 100% strength - and that's the worst behaving one. i've contacted smartthings support and basically get the "tech runaround" you'd expect. have you unplugged and replugged. uninstall the app and reinstall. remove the cameras and re-add them - which btw completely erases your entire history of clips and they didn't warn me. terrible. not enough room here to describe the horridness of this system. so unreliable it's worthless. big mistake.

Bought three Smartthings cameras. All are JUNK...
I bought three cameras. Two will no longer connect to my Samsung account. The third states weak WIFI. It is fivr feet from an AP. All Samsung does is keep putting me on hold. Waste of money and time.

Constantly disconnects from network
I received this interior camera when I purchased my Galaxy S20 plus last month. This camera is always "offline". The camera is located 10 feet from my router and smartthings hub in direct line of sight. The cameras will work for a few days and then the just stop working, usually at the most inopportune time. The firmware needs an update. Samsung needs to fix this issue.

No long term value
I bought two of these cameras before Samsung took over. My RC8335PRO units no longer connect to the new Samsung (Smart things App) nor can I connect either camera to my wireless web. It was fun for a year or so but now just plastic junk.

Smartthings Cam will not register with Samsung
I was excited to get my new camera setup and working, but setup would hang at the point where it registers with Samsung. I registered my Smartthings Cam on my Samsung online account, and tried setup again, same thing, unable to register with Samsung. I don't get it.

Camera heats up
I bought this camera 3 months ago & am not a big fan. I can only connect it for a few hors and have to disconnect because the camera heats up easily. Unfortunately, I can't leave this camera on throughout the night, or day in that matter. Also, when I do use it the signal goes off & on.
