Can not set up
been trying for over an hour now to set up the camera. it gets through the whole process and then says cannot connect try again. all the touble shooting help says is to reset the canera and try again. that doesnt work. i have gigabyte interent and tried with camera right next to router and with multiple phones. doesnt work and there are no troublshooting guides that actually help

These cameras are a scam
the camera works good, for the first month, then they spring on you that they need a 8$/month subscription to continue to be usefull... the camera only takes 10 seconds of video instead of the 60 second videos when i first installed them... instead of providing a service for the 8$ a month they limit the use if you dont pay... sounds to me like blackmail, but at the very least its a scam and crummy way to do business... my entire home is smarthings... alarm appliances and home automation... its time to find a replacement for it all... sad, because smarthings started off so good..

Constantly disconnects from hub
although the camera does the job it constantly disconnects and reconnects to the samsung hub. we have the camera located in out living room and notice that several times a day it disconnects to hub. i hope there is a fix for this and it makes me doubt it's reliably as a security camera.

well got it as a back up for our apartment. well it constantly turns off viewing, lights shows it is on but can't view live. will be returning. its literally right next to the router with 300 download and upload.

Doesnt work with SmartThings Mesh WiFi
i would love to write a review if the camera, but unfortunately it won’t even connect to my smartthings mesh wifi.

i believe the issue is it is unable to “see” the 2.4ghz band on a mesh wifi which presents as a single ssid.

it’s astonishing to me that a product from the same company, with the same smartthings brand, has this issue.

multiple interactions with samsung support have gotten us nowhere. we are resigned to leaving this thing in a drawer to gather dust, and i am now considering getting rid of my smartthings products altogether.

Constantly disconnects but WiFi is 96%
this expensive camera works when connected but it disconnects at least 3 times a day and needs to be power-cycled to re-connect.

pretty crap-tastic.

i have a spectrum wifi router that is configured in my samsung galaxy 20 ultra so it was set up automatically and easily in the smartthings app.

it started working immediately which was nice and works well when "connected".

too bad it disconnects at least 2 or 3 times a day and it requires human intervention so this blows the idea of security out of the water.

i thought samsung would be better than other cheapo crappy camera but they are just as bad. its an expensive and very disappointing toy at this point.

Good but with a few issues
so i got 2 of these as a bundle after buying new phones and was looking forward to using them downstairs to keep an eye on things, escpecially our dog and kids, its got great quality videos,...when they want to record, or when its not offline randomly or not choosing when it wants to not upload videos of feed to my app. i have reset them both twice and i still have issues with my kitchen one. they are both within range of the router. so im not sure why they choose to be on in the most random moments and then off other tines,
however, like i said, when they are onthey have great quality and nice speakers to do a 2way chat with kiddos downstairs, when you need to back on track.

Wound not buy
got 3 camras. all 3 cameras never stay connected and i am always having to reset them. pain in the bit to take them down scan then put them back up. wish i did not spend my money on them.

Constantly Failing Cameras, No Support Available
unfortunately my review is too long for this, so i've cut it down drastically. don't buy these cameras.

coming from a techy household, we have nothing but problems with these. hundreds of clips will record in a day, but then it will randomly say they can't be found when you try to watch them. cameras will also periodically disconnect, with no notification. i have to reset both cameras every few days, which defeats the purpose. the quality and features are great when they work, but i've been fighting these for over a year, and there's no support available. after having a house full of samsung products, i'm incredibly disappointed in these.

i was really hoping to one of the people that left a great review about this camera. not sure how people are getting these cameras to work properly. very easy to set up. impossible to keep them connected. i'm going to try and send them back.
