I bought this TV a month ago but sometimes its making different noise for some of the movies/songs. Not sure whether its a product defect or common in this series. Will have to talk to tech support.

Awesome picture!
I have had my TV now for about a month and the picture is incredible. The only issue that I have had is that it would not connect to my network a couple of times. I unplugged the electronics and repowered it and everything worked fine again. I have to use a Google Chromecast with my TV because the operating system doesn't support the Tablo app that I need for my over the air TV. It did instantly recognize the Chromecast and will still control it with the new remote, so while it is a little bit of a pain, it still works.

Failed after 10 months
I purchase the tv and after 10 months it failed. They said it needed a new screen. They couldn't get one to replace it. So the opted to replace the whole tv. They had the same model but since it ended with a B now and not an A I had to pay 400 for a warranty repair. Makes no sense to me. I even purchased the extended warranty. No help

TV was awesome, when it actually worked...
I purchased an 85" QN800B during Black Friday 2022. The picture was phenomenal, but the speakers made an awful rattle at most volume intervals. I requested an exchange, about a month later the new TV arrived, it looked and sounded so much better. However, that only lasted for about an hour then the TV just crashed. The one connect box no longer received power. So another month goes and I tried to power up the second exchange and it doesn't even power on. I denied the shipment and I am now in the refund process. I have Samsung everything, the products have always been great in the past. But this has been an awful experience, I've barely had any time to enjoy this expensive product and I've had it since November.

Decent TV, with a 100Mbps ethernet port.
I'm (or was?) a big fan of Samsung, they have decent quality, and nice design in home appliance. The apps for the phone are somehow decent, but everything around account management is bad, and unsafe.
I got this tv because I wanted to have all my appliance and electronics on same app/brand. Upgraded from a Sony 75" 4k that was 6 years old. The image improvement wasnt that much. The boot up time neither.
You expect for a almost 4k+ U$ tv that has a nice processor but not. Tv will be decently usable after 5 to 10 minutes you pressed the ON button (unless you watch air tv). And this is coming from standby mode. If you do a cold start, better sit and wait :).
What I do is ask alexa to turn on tv while Im fixing a drink or sandwich, so when I got to sit is already usable.
Software is decent, may be better than android tv, limited in options of app, but better working. It has embedded hardware video codec decoding. so will do fine with media servers, like plex, and streaming over lan (which is one of the reasons that I like Samsung tvs) If you are getting it just for the image quality, you can get like 90% of this quality for half the price in other brands. So do you research. Image processing is bad, dynamic image will jump bright in the middle of a movie.
The online XBOX embedded feature works flawless. almost no delay (on a good internet connection). I'm not a pro gamer or console lover but I definitely see that works great.
One of the INCREDIBLE downsides of this tv is that the ethernet port is 100MB. YES YOU READ IT RIGHT, 2023, 4k tv, with a FastEthernet 100 Mbps port.
I'm a system and network administrator, I tough something was wrong with my cable install. I connected the test tool to the port.. 1gbps. changed patch cords, connected my laptop there, everything said 1gbps,. but tv only connects to 100mbps. No info at tv. I see the speed at my router (Unifi) and you see when streaming xbox or a UHD movie over the network that will peak at 100Mbps. I even connected a router directly to the tv with 3ft cat 7 cable to be 100% sure. Since samsung support will say that is 1Gbps, and no specs on web or tv. But found other users in forum that ended up with same issue.
So yeah. if you like to wire your devices to keep you wifi clean and devices with lower latency, take into consideration that this tv its ONLY 100MBPS.

Spectacular
This tv is spectacular, great picture and very easy to set up. Now, the remote that came with my tv, didnt work and I was very frustrated, ie. over engineered it, but they quickly sent me a new one and it works fine.
I will upgrade my other tvs, when there is more 8K content. A Sony guy for 50 years, but Samsung was a nice alternative.

sent angi people to mount who did not do it correctly and now the tv does not work
