But, don’t be fooled by the TSi100’s size. This speaker has enough power to rattle the walls all night long.
High Quality and Major Value
This bookshelf speaker will change your mind about everything you thought you knew about audio. The Polk TSi100 uses a 1" fabric/polymer dome tweeter with powerful neodymium magnet to deliver clear and detailed high frequency response for realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments, while a polycarbonate woofer churns out rich mids and powerful lows. All of this is housed in a resonance-deadening MDF cabinet to create a more transparent sound. Other speakers that are similarly priced use inferior materials like plywood - only Polk Audio bookshelf speakers deliver this level of quality.
Polk’s TSi Series
Polk’s TSI series may not carry a hefty price tag, but any audiophile will be impressed with its quality. Inspired by Polk’s flagship LSI series of home audio equipment, the TSi100, and all other TSi products are made to look good and work seamlessly with your home entertainment equipment and electronics. The TSi100 doesn’t break the bank, but it will break your conception of how clear and powerful you thought an inexpensive speaker can sound.
Legendary Polk Quality
In 1972, if you wanted to get big sound you needed big and expensive speakers. The founders of Polk set out to recreate concert quality sound in homes with charging outrageous prices for ridiculously large speakers. Their goal was to design a better sounding and more practical speaker. They ended up changing the world of home audio. The times and fashions may have changed but one thing has stayed the same. Polk is still crafting high quality, great sounding affordable speakers.
Designed for Music and Movies

Bi-wiring and Bi-amping
You don’t need to be an audiophile to appreciate Polk’s TSi100 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker with 5-1/4" Driver , but don’t be surprised if you become one. This little bookshelf speaker has the type of versatility you can only find in much more expensive speakers. The TSi100 has dual binding posts that allow for bi-amp or bi-wire connections. So you can take advantage of all the power your amplifier has, or use two amplifiers to get a wider frequency range and get the most out of your speakers.

Customer Reviews for Polk Audio TSi100 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers With 5.25" Driver - Pair
These speakers are SURPRISINGLY GOOD for the money. Clear sound, good imaging, they're particularly good with voices.
The current trend in high end audio is toward accuracy, but speakers that stress accuracy can be fatiguing. These Polk's are more "musical", and are comfortable to have playing in the background all day and sound good cranked up to wake me up with my coffee in the morning.
They're not going to steal sales away from $1,500 Kef bookshelf speakers, but you just may like them as much or more than some speakers in the $300-$500 range.
