Awesome… But!
Difference in Audio Quality (AQ). Going from Pioneer Elite to Marantz, sounds cleaner, precision audio, high quality and a warm HiDef movie sound. The only thing I am trying to figure out is: Sub outputs on Pioneer works great from the the 2 inputs. For some reason the Marantz does not recognize my tower speaker with amplified subwoofer like the pioneer. I am using DefTech tower speakers and Center channel with in amp sub. Why won’t Marantz recognize it’s there? Still works without the the LFE. But would be awesome to utilize the subwoofer amp in the tower and center. Second: when using PS5 (sony) to AppleTV it won’t auto switch? Thirdly: the AppleTV remote is difficult when using the volume setting, regardless of input setting.

Transformed my home theater
I purchased the SR6015 to replace my Marantz 7001 that I purchased for my THX home theater in 2006ish. Seventeen years later the 7001 AV receiver still worked perfectly, but it was not compatible with 4K and newer Dolby formats. The 6015 handles all my upgraded components perfectly. The onscreen setup was very intuitive, so setting up the receiver was very easy. The sound quality is amazing, exactly what I have come to expect from Marantz. I am very happy with this purchase. I’m currently running a 9.1 wired speaker configuration in the media room, but I love the fact I can incorporate the receiver with my Sono’s speakers throughout the rest of my house. I will be adding a second sub and Atmos speakers to maximize the power of the receiver and our home theater experience.

Excellent investment.
I'm in my Sixties, by far this is the best A/V receiver I've ever owned. My next purchase is going to be the Marantz MM7055 5-Channel Power Amplifier.

Replaced a SR7008 with the SR6015.. Very happy with the upgrades in this unit.. Easy setup since it was very similar to the SR7008..

Easy to set up and sounds terrific.
Sounds terrific for the use and price (not my principal listening room - which has over $75K of equipment. Needed to adjust manually (microphone based system produced very odd mix). I bought it to work with Apple TV, Cable Box, and Roon. All worked extremely well with minimal effort

None better
I started with a SR5015 that I felt was a decent AV receiver. I had a little trouble with it and ended up having to ship it back. Faced with the need for a receiver to replace it I must admit I was a little hesitant about getting another Marantz. Well I after some soul searching I caved and went with the upgrade SR6015. Best decision I ever made. Th performance of this receiver is beyond compare. I’m so satisfied with it I can’t explain it. If anything were to happen with it I would definitely buy again. I’m a Marantz man for life!
