I bought a 55” back when the C9 was first released, I did not think the difference between 55” and 65” was going to be significant, but boy was I wrong. What an incredible television.

Best LG ever. Best TV ever. Me, happiest ever.
This is my 4th LG TV. First, a 60" Plasma, 2nd, 65" LCD, Finally, a 40"LCD.
All were great. NOW, I finally bought my dream TV, a 65" LG OLED C9 PUA. Surely, the best TV ever made.
With LG's aggressive price reduction, BUY your new LG today.. Every aspect of the OLED is way better than I could ever have imagined. NERVANA at last.

still experiencing getting used to the picture qua
bought about 2 weeks ago. need to put into "vivid" mode to get more crisp picture without fooling around with each option like contrast, brightness, each color component and the like even on HD cable tv broadcasts. The pointer is a great feature, but is a bit too "quick" such that you need to slow down and place on a stable surface when you move the pointer.

Finally! A reason to be excited about 4k!
I'll never forget how exiting it was to go from SD video to HD in 2007. When 4k stated becoming a standard, it was hard for me to justify upgrading because none of the Tv's I had come across impressed me.

When I was introduced to OLED at a Best Buy store I was visiting, I was blown away by the quality. 4K actually looked amazing on it. I had already purchased a 4k tv from Samsung 2 years ago, so upgrading again want something I was looking to do.

Once a friend of mine told me he was looking to buy a tv, I made the arrangements to sell him my Samsung so I could push towards the OLED from LG. I bought the C9 2019 model (55").

My wife is not a tech savvy person at all, and isn't easily impressed by any of it. She had not seen an OLED in action before, and couldn't understand why I was pushing so hard to get one. Still, she agreed that we would get it. We drove an hour+ to the nearest Best Buy store to get it. When we first got there, I purposely walked her through the tv section to look at all the other models that we're not OLED panels. She kept saying she wasn't impressed and added 'I hope these are not what you've been going on about.'

When we finally got to the LG OLED display, her jaw hit the floor and she was blown away by the picture quality. I couldn't get her to look away at any other models. And when I told her that was the tv we were there to pick up, she was 110% on board with it.

The LG C9 OLED tv is the first tv I have been echoed about since I purchased my very first HD tv in 2007. The functionality of it is also amazing. The built in apps for YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, WWE, etc load amazingly fast. The updated HDMI 2.1 ports on all inputs was also a major deciding factor in choosing the LG over other brands.

I can not say enough positive things about this set. We've had it almost 3 weeks now, and it's been the center of our winter entertainment already. It's even pushed me to upgrade my out dated surround sound system... Something I've been putting off for a while now. I'm super happy with my LG C9 OLED tv. If you're on the fence about getting one, I encourage you to make the jump!

this is a great tv the only reason i dont give it a 5 star is the motion on thie tv. the really fast detail is a little bit of blur. when a football is thrown there is a very sliht blur when following it. needs to be worked on. the only weakness.
