Superb Stereo and Surround

The Klipsch RP-440WF wireless floorstanding speakers supply all the impact you’d expect from Klipsch’s top-performing systems. Four 4.5-inch woofers pump out solid bass. They’re composed of Klipsch’s spun-copper Cerametallic material, which stiffens the cones for a powerful, distortion-free bottom end. A 1-inch titanium tweeter fires through Klipsch’s iconic rectangular Tractrix horn, throwing a huge soundstage across the room, side to side and ceiling to floor. The system places you in the thick of the action, or at center stage with your favorite musical artists.

Customized Circuitry

The built-in 125-watt amplifiers are perfectly mated to these Klipsch Reference floorstanding speakers, and with the HD Wireless Control Center, two RP-440WCs form the foundation of a powerful stereo system that’s incredibly simple to set up. A button on back of the speaker clues in the Control Center to new speakers coming on board, and lights on the back of the speakers confirm the connections. If you’re in the mood to splurge, four of these with the Control Center make a supreme surround system for concerts or movies. And Klipsch promises to upgrade the software as technology advances – and even upgrade the Control Center box once if new hardware is required! No more planned obsolescence.

Perfect Pairings

Best of all, because it’s a modular system, you can add pieces as your bank account allows: Step up to the RP-110WSW Wireless Subwoofer, then add the RP-440WC Wireless Center Speaker and RP-140WM Wireless Bookshelf Speakers as surrounds. Or buy prepackaged systems in multiple configurations, often at significant savings, from simple 2.1 and 3.1 systems to 7.1 and 7.2 elaborate surround systems (remember, the point-one and point-two are always the subwoofers), to match your needs.

WWS: What We Say

“These wireless speakers have a  lot of advantages. They save space, there are fewer cables, you can move them from room to room, and as some people find AV receivers difficult to use, there’s no receiver to deal with. It still has the Klipsch signature sound – and the amplifiers are designed to work perfectly with the speakers. This is a good marriage, like peanut butter and jelly.” – Dave Sailer, WWS product specialist

Awsome sound, product easy to setup and control.
Main home theater system in home in (family room). Easy to setup and control <50 minutes for me.
Fidelity is unbelievable. I've been a wireless speaker skeptic for a long time until I heard this system.

Amazing Speakers, Easy Setup
I thought for sure the advertising saying it takes a few minutes to setup had to be an exaggeration and it would probably still take quite a while. Not at all! It couldn't be easier to setup. It literally is like 2 minutes of setup time. I couldn't believe it. For such advanced technology, it's remarkable how fast you can set these speakers up and have them working. The quality of the sound is the best I've ever had in my home for sure. Even at very loud levels, the audio is not distorted and sounds beautiful. My only regret is not having enough money at present to turn this into a 7.2 system, which I will do later this year. Already at 5.1 it's incredible sound, but adding two large towers for rear speakers and moving the bookshelf speakers to side-rear would be a further improvement, not to mention an extra sub just for fun. I really can't rave about these speakers enough, and the tiny little receiver, which is hilarious. My old receiver was 30 pounds and bulky, awkward, obnoxious, etc. My only TINY little complaint or note for the future is Klipsh should release an expanded receiver unit with 5 HDMI inputs plus a bonus on the front and they should all be HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliant. It's not a big deal, but my TV's ports are all HDCP 2.2 and it would make sense down the road. Also, for those of us with a lot of entertainment systems, 4 ports isn't close to enough. Currently I have TV on 1, Apple TV on 2 and the Amazon Fire next to it, so I'd have to switch out the HDMI cable to plug in the Fire, Xbox One on 3, PS4 on 4, with the Blu-ray player having to share with PS4. Further, I have Xbox 360 and Wii U that don't even get any connection at all. I'd have to move around cables to use them, which is fine as I don't use them a lot, but 6 HDMI ports is essential for someone like myself.
