Klipsch PRO-16-RC In-Ceiling Speaker

Recently upgraded to 4 of these for Height speakers in my home theater system. I owed my previous speakers for about 3 years, bought them on sale at Best Buy. I wasn’t getting a lot of sound from them in Dolby Atmos mode even though they were each receiving 160w of clean amplifier power. I own a very good preamp processor so I knew that was not the problem so I figured that I must be losing sound into the ceiling even with adjusting channel volume and other settings so I decided to give Klipsch a try. Normally I am not a Klipsch fan due to the bright tweeters. I own Revel speakers for my front stage and back surround sound. I could hear the difference in sound as I changed each speaker out at a time. They are still a little too bright for music but that can be adjusted when I rerun Dirac live, but for Dolby Atmos these bad boys are perfect! I rewatched some movies on 4K Blu-ray that I am familiar with and I heard sounds that I didn’t know were there before. These speakers even have great bass/mid-bass besides outstanding highs and mids. During the original John Wick movie there is a scene with lots of bass when he is in the club. These speakers blended well with the four 16 inch subs that I am running. On some of the lower notes I could hear the woofer lightly tapping on the tweeter housing of the speakers due to the great excursion capabilities and I have the tweeters angled as far as they will go so it is closer to the woofer of the speakers. Again, this will be adjusted out once I break the speakers in and run the Dirac Live Room EQ setup. I seriously doubted these speakers at first but they are well made and makes my speakers system sound so much more crisp and solid now, sound stage sounds so much more larger now. Best upgrade I have made in a while. The ability to fully adjust the speaker angle and adjust the level of the tweeters makes it a very versatile option for custom home theater setups.
