Big Sound! E@rgazmic Perfection.
picked a pair up that were refurbs. i only wish i would have bought them all. endless mount and placement options. i had a set of heresey IV, but, they just could not compete over all.

AWR-650-SM All Weather 2-Way Speaker - Each (Granite)
Installed My 4 purchased Klipsch AWR-650 for a surround sound setup in my back yard. These speakers sound clean and has a good amount of bass for it size. Only pumping 40 watts per channel in stereo with the Phase Tech OS-440 Bluetooth / Wifi amplifier with volume at half way point and it's loud. This is my opinion as a sound system renter for DJ's and Bands. I'm happy with this product.

Unexpectedly Awesome Sound
Thought these would sound ok by my pool. They are simply amazing and had I known they sounded this good I would have purchased long ago. Very bright highs and excellent base.

Does this have to be plugged in or is it chargeable ?
The AWR-650 is a passive speaker system designed to be driven from the speaker outputs of your receiver. As such it needs no AC or battery power

Is it blue tooth driven as I have no stereo to hook too?

Thanks for your questions. The Klipsch AWR-650 are passive speakers requiring a wired connection to a stereo system. They are not powered; they cannot receive a signal wirelessly; and have no Bluetooth capability.

When will you make them Bluetooth capable?
Thanks for your inquiry. Klipsch has not made us aware of their development of new outdoor speaker products and technologies. Bluetooth speakers are typically self-powered with a built in amplifier. Outdoor products requiring 110V AC are very rare and rechargeable battery powered audio amplifiers work best in small portable speakers. Stay tuned as the industry addresses the need for safely powered Bluetooth capable outdoor speakers.

How many speakers will I need for a backyard that is about 75 wide by 60 deep?
Thanks for your question. How many you will need is dependent upon a number of factors. How you listen, how loud you listen, coverage at a party, and amplifier capability, to name a few. The AWR rock speakers are very efficient (94dB), 8 ohms, with a recommended 100 watt amplifier. 2 speakers would work fine at much less than rock concert volume, 4 will increase coverage and manage modestly higher output. 2 pair of 8 ohm speakers is about the limit for most amplifiers, assuming they are capable of driving a 4 ohm load. We recommend a dedicated amplifier rated at least 70 to 100 watts at 4 ohms for 2 pairs. Amplifier clipping is a common issue with outdoor speakers. Its audible and can damage speakers and harm the amp due to high heat. If you hear it, turn down the volume.
