it doesn't deserve a 1 star, great quality, great sound, but doesn't work in the apple ecosystem. i would give them a solid 3.5 if it weren't for the ergonomics. I gave a 1 star hoping other impatient people reading reviews would read mine. I'm disappointed that they're so annoying and slippery to handle/remove from their case.

And the look and feel? I find it to be quite nice. I love the matte black look and while the build is very plastic, they look classy. The shape of the case, being wider rather than taller, I find to be a benefit.
I would like to mention the way they sit in the case, which is a bit strange. It can be a bit cumbersome, especially if you have thicker fingers. I'm able to easily remove them from the case, but my boyfriend had a bit of trouble. Also, when you pull them out, they are facing backwards, so to put them in your ear you either have to finagle them around or use both hands to really get one out of the case and in your ear. The ear tips run a bit large on these, as well, so they had a tendency to slowly push back out of my ears as I wore them and moved around, even while using the smallest rubber tip. I have little ear canals and this happens with all ear buds I've tried with the rubber tips, but my boyfriend had the same issue. Will that stop me from using them? Definitely not!
