I bought them as a replacement to my broken Jaybirds, the sound is good, the bass is solid and not muddy, the fit is weightless, however the touch is sooo sensitive without any volume control. I really doubt the designer of this product ever visited the gym, so i tend to lock the earbuds !
I have had these for about 3 weeks. And suddenly the volume in the right ear is very low. If I rest my finger on the back of the earpiece it will partially return. That had been working perfectly only an hour before. Used with iPhone 6
I found that if I put Reflect Response idle for several minutes, it will disconnect from the phone (iPhone). Also, I can not directly tap connect Reflect Response. Connection Unsuccessful. I have to tap Forget this device and reconnect again. It is inconvenience. Unlike my other bluetooth equipment, I will automatically connect.
I quite satisfied with the headset quality but it seems do not have much details to guide user how to use it. For example, I don't know how to check the headset battery level, how to use the voice control function. Moreover, it was advertise as it could be control by waving fingers (gesture), but I do not find out anywhere for the manual of that gesture functions.
Best earphones ive ever had, but after 3 months the volume on the left speaker became lower and lower until it was barley hearable. Then the same happened to the right speaker. Now both of the speakers are barley hearable. Tested on several phones.
Hello! My JBL reflect response is almost 5 months old and suddenly the right side of the earphones gives a very low volume in comparison to the left side. Although I checked that the balance is correctly centered, I don't know how to solve the issue. Also, is there a way to reset the earphones?
After 1.5 months of use the first left ear bud went we exchanged them and it's been less then a month, another left ear bud has gone. Clearly a design flaw as I see there are other users with the same issue. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed JBL used to be such a good brand.
Have used for 4 weeks. Used when mowing lawn every 5 days and during weight training once a week. I sweat heavy and have ruined Bluetooth devises in the past due to the mike/controls touching my cheek. Like the controls at the ear.
I bought this 2 days ago and I am very disappointed in the optical control system. There NEEDS to be a hardware switch / driver to disable it! The controls are constantly activating by themselves by my hair / hoodie / hat, making random phonecalls and such because voice control activates randomly. The QA section says to hold left earphone for 4 seconds to disable controls, but the controls will re-enable themselves automatically again after 4 seconds because of hair / hoodie / hat so that does not solve anything!
Everything else about this product is above expectations tho, so if you have short hair and dont wear headgear, I recommend it warmly!
Wife bought these for me and I was going to return them without trying because I wanted truly wireless headphones....airpods seemed great but they don't fit my ear well and I'm sure I would lose them or they would fall out during a work out. Decided to try these and was really surprised by the sound. I did several tests using them for phone calls, and while they don't have the noise cancelling no one can tell that I am speaking on a blue tooth, which is a huge plus. I like the fit and battery life is fantastic. Pleasantly surprised and I plan to keep them. I wish they had volume control on them and it is taking a while to use all the touch features. its cool, but you have to be careful when putting them on and taking them off whether you accidently hit the earpiece. I once let my audio book run unexpectedly for a few minutes before I realized I had turned them on. Also, I like how quickly and easily they sync up to my iphone. and the notifications for low battery are not too frequent or loud compared to other Bluetooth devices I have used.
I bought these 2 weeks ago. Went on vacation with them - ear buds themselves fit GREAT! First pair of wireless I've bought that ACTUALLY fit well. I had them connected to my laptop and iPhone on separate occasions - Both sources produced great sound via Bluetooth, but unfortunately, the touch sensors are just too sensitive. Sometimes even moving my head left or right would activate them. "locking" them, for whatever reason, does nothing to help. I'm so disappointed with the amount I paid for these. The sound is great, but that's completely ruined by the sensitivity of the touch sensors
I bought these headphones I think around October or November in 2017 and loved the sound quality from them (Please Read further. To start off, I am a JBL fan when it comes to selecting music playing devices. I've purchased the JBL Exteme, two JBL Charge 3's, a wired headphone set from them and this JBL Reflect response product for my workouts. I am overly satisfied with the OTHER products mentioned but this Bluetooth Reflect Response has recently severely damaged JBL's reputation for quality with me. And here is why...
Sure there is an annoying feature such as the tap tech because even if you lock the tap tech from working, it is easily unlocked when doing any sort of activity such as sit up with your hands near your ears (this isn't the reason though). I've come to adapt to that situation. The MAIN reason is because recently in the gym (January 5th 2018) I turned on the headphones and for some reason the right ear piece was VERY quiet. When I say quiet, I mean on the verge of not working at all even full blast. The only way i could hear the sound coming from it was when i took the left one out of my ear and then finally I could hear that it was working but very quietly. The ear piece is still very quiet and I have no idea why.
It wasn't a gradual decrease in volume either. It was all of a sudden one day it didn't work properly.
Note* I made sure to take extreme care with these headphones because they were nice to have and they were relatively expensive. So mistreatment is out of the picture for me.
As said before, I loved JBL and their typical quality but if there isn't a fix for this I don't think i will be purchasing headphones from them anymore. After spending 150$ on a pair of headphones to workout with I'd expect a long lasting product (not a few months.
I bought it two weeks ago. When I charged it for the first time, the red light went off after about 2 hours. The red light went off again not long after I replugged it.
Today, I found it would automatically turning on (the red and blue light flashes without me even touching it. This has happened quite a few times. I could not even turn it off by pressing the switch then. Do you know what's going on with it?
As mentioned by several people in the reviews, after short use, the volume on the right side is very low. I have checked with a mono (non stereo) to verify and the volume is still low. It seems it is a recurrent problem.
I have had these for a few weeks now and I like the style and everything my only problem is the volume on a 1-10 scale is like a 3. They won't play any louder. Is this just my headphones or does everyone have this problem?
At first the headphones worked flawlessly, great sound very simple to use and comfortable. after 3 week of using the headphones it started having troubles recharging, after that the headphones opend and closed repeatedly untill the baterry is drain making the headphones unusable!
Trully dissapointed with this item. Nice design & colour option. Sound quality so-so/average & the worst part: the touch function is annoyingly super sensitive. Cant even jog without it stop/pause/play only because my hair or jacket’s collar brush through the earbud
I bought these headphones excited to give them a go. But these junk phones won't ever charge to full battery. The red light turns on when you plug them in after 10 mins the light goes off completely. When I turn them on the red light flashes. Don't waste your money garbage
