JBL Pulse 4 Portable Bluetooth Speaker

We used to have the JBL charge 2. My husband left it on the hood of his work truck right at the windshield and he drove off and it was never to be seen again. I don’t get upset about much but that one really got to me! That was the best speaker we have ever had. We were reluctant to get the pulse 4 simply because of the price. But we bit the bullet. It’s a great speaker with great sound quality but the battery life is terrible. Even when we turn off the light show, it dies quickly. The JBL charge 2 still had great battery life being 5 years old. It held up so great! Wish I had it back. Someone out there probably found it and is enjoying the heck out of it.

Love the speaker quality and the light display is beautiful, but if I were you I wouldn’t get white. After having mine a little over a year, the white is starting to yellow pretty bad.

I bought one of these for each of my grandson and they love them.

I bought the speaker in May and used it every day over the summer. it was great at first but started breaking easily. The buttons ended up falling off and I could not press them anymore and the speaker scratches very easily. after only a few weeks of using it there were scratches covering the whole it. The more I used it the more I noticed the sound getting quieter and quieter. after about four months the speaker wouldn’t even turn on anymore. I unfortunately could not use my warranty to buy a new one because I had thrown out the box and the receipt. I talked to a representative for hours but couldn’t figure out anyway to prove when I bought it. I loved the speaker while it lasted and want to buy a new one but I hate the fact that i have a warranty and can’t even use it

lights fooked up and only goes half way, never dropped. barley got sand on it and the volume up notch was broke by it too. fook pulse 4

Love the speaker! Great sound for its size, and the light show feature is awesome.

Me and boy were absolutely crunked af and tipp d me and my boy were on a canoe with the speaker on board and flipped. the speaker floated in order to be found, but it also worked after even though it was in freezing water for more than 10 minutes. 5 out of 5!

I bought this item the Beginning of last month and I love it

I received this speaker as a gift. The 2nd time I used it the sound stopped working.
I was told factory reset and charge it. And nothing else they could do for me wish I could give this a zero

The sound out of this speaker is amazing and the led light show is a bonus great product

I have had this item for 2 weeks and I am shocked that it has just stopped working. I can’t see any lights even on charge. I have done no damage to the speaker it just switched off. I am even more disappointed that upon contacting jbl they do not offer a replacement speaker only a refund. And because I bought the speaker on sale if I was to replace it it would cost me more money than the refund. Disgusting customer service and terrible product.

I’ve only bought it recently so I haven’t used it much, yet. The sound is good but bass could be better. The lights are really good and are definitely the best feature. I paid half price on Black Friday sales, I’d be disappointed if I’d have paid more.

I have bought this in white as a gift i have tried it to make sure its ok and its absolutely beautiful the colours are really bright and the sound is loud not distorted at all ,they will be very pleased with this and excellent price.

Belting speaker,,iv got 5 or 6 jbl speakers and iv never been disappointed

MY SON BOUGHT THIS AND WITHIN 3 DAYS IT WAS RECUED IN BLACK FRIDAY TO OVER 1/2 THE COST MORTIFIED AND SO UPSET

I’ve had this for a year and I liked it a lot until I got a flip 5 to use the partyboost feature. It takes forever to get them to actually set up and the pulse 4 just cuts out every 5 seconds and I am super angry about it. Never cuts out normally but can’t get it to stop with the partyboost.

The sound are almost perfect for bedroom with multiple colors changing.

I bought the white jbl pulse 4 and it had some scratches from the inside but overall quality is perfect

Super cool looking wireless speaker that I bought for Xmas last year and my family loves this speaker! It’s nice and loud and adds some awesome looking trippy vibes to any room you bring it to! Take it along for a party too! Also, takes a couple hours to charge but then lasts me for a week of use!!

This speaker is so well made and esthetically pleasing plus the sound is superb. My daughter loves it and the sound is just amazing loud. Great job and cant wait to see what the pulse 5 looks like.

The Sound...lets start there....Crystal Clear.....&......LOUD!!! That's never happened with any other Bluetooth Device that I have EVER owned. I absolutely love the Light Show, and I love being able control the lights with the Extremely Easy-To-Use Companion App.
Then there's the fact that it is WATERPROOF, it really makes a Great addition to those weekend Camping &/or River Floating Trips.
All in all I do really LOVE the JBL PULSE 4.

My first JBL speaker. And love it. Waited forever for the white one but finally got it. Sounds loud and clear and a great light show. Nice eye catcher too

I like the speaker but it seems JBL should have made this compatible with the other models that use connect+. I am very disappointed that it will not connect with my friends and my Charge 3 & 4 speakers. Please make this model connect with your previous models.

It’s been a week and I can honestly say that the speakers although pricey are worth the price when on sale, it came upto £128 with the discounts. The light up show is amazing and receive many compliments on it. The bass is not the best but it’s good and it gets very loud.
