Outstanding headphones!
These headphones are absolutely outstanding. The noise cancelling is amazing, the bass is really deep and punchy, and the overall sound quality is very balanced. I am very glad I got them.

I really like these headphones.
After a week of use I may have a new favorite pair of JBL headphones. I currently own J55, and J88, but these 750nc are tops. The features are all convenient and easy to get use to.

Excellent product from a JBL fan!!
I received these Bluetooth headphones and they are fantastic in sound and ease of use. I have owned JBL studio monitor speakers, bookshelf speakers, and earbud corded stereo headphones so I know about JBL products and their excellent sound. These headphones have great sound and ease of use. Their battery has a long life while being used in the Bluetooth mode. I could also have my phone inside the house broadcasting Pandora in Bluetooth and walk around the perimeter of my yard with good reception. Both the Noise Cancelling and Ambient noise to allow sounds such as traffic or people in the room work very well. I can sit the family room with Ambient noise on low or high and hear the television along with conversations of other people as well as the music from the Bluetooth source. The JBL Everest Elite 750NC is two thumbs-up from a JBL fan.

Lots of details and hard work by JBL on these!
I have spent some years limiting the amount of headphone use I went through and now that I have these, I am a major fan of headphones. Previously, I felt that I would get fatigue in my ears after prolonged headphone use, not with these. The act of listening to music with these is so enjoyable. First of all, upon initial pairing with my iPhone, I get prompted to download the JBL headphone app, which takes a mere moment and is super worth it. In the upper screen of my phone where I view my phone's battery life, I also monitor my headphone's battery life. After initial pairing, simply power up the headphones and the pairing is immediate. App also lets you control just how noise cancelling you like the headphones by adjusting outside ambient sounds up or down: nice feature. To really do this review justice, I could tell you how beautiful and rich the sound is, but you already expect that I assume...and you are correct. I hear nuances in songs for the first time when listening in these. That said, I wanted to explain many of the well thought out details present in these cans. No squinting to find the R for right and L for left on these, there are large letters nested away out of sight while wearing, but on the foam/mesh of the speaker covers inside....easy to quickly assess and put on. Also, I wore these for six hours straight to see if they would press into my ears or head over time and hurt, nope, comfy cozy all the way. Next up, I put my iPhone down on one side of my house and walked away from it to the other side of the house to test the distance it can stay paired...not until I closed my third door in my house between me and my headphones and my iPhone did I begin to notice a slight...slight connection trouble. Best Bluetooth experience I have had yet, on that one. The phones pack down nicely into their sturdy and attractive case along with all needed accessories, such as USB charging cable and audio cable (should you be forced to connect that way). Controls on bottom of each over-the-ear-piece are intuitive and easy to use. Overall, I am even swayed from my vintage aesthetic taste. I would have normally sought out headphones that looked vintage and then searched for the top sound quality in those choices, but here I am changing my habits and grateful that I did because not only do I feel I have the best features, but the design ended up winning me over (and I am a picky consumer when it comes to that.). I would like to offer up some cons or issues that I had to give a well rounded outlook on these, but I can't because after three or four weeks, I have not had one complaint. Do yourself a favor and find out what I am talking about. These are going to be with me for a long time!

Headphones arrived in a nice black storage case that contains heavy duty charging cable held up to rigors of changing locations from car adapter to house.

Inside is pouch that contains:
-Flight adaptor: nice accessory for business travelers
-Light gray cord : very lightweight and easy to use should you choose to not use Bluetooth.
(wired connections are my preference)

Bluetooth feature: use held up well for traveling 9 hour road trip , didnt need to recharge.

App: very convenient, made it easy to adjust environment awareness levels;
totally awesome when wanting block out external noises.

Noise cancellation: feature , user friendly for enabling and disabling.
Sound quality: clear crisp sound , without heavy bass or high treble

Headphone cushions : remain comfortable after hours of use
Adjustable headband: easily adjust new position, for heights
Buttons on back of RIGHT earpiece: easy to navigate , especially
using during workouts

Opportunities for improvement:
1. When walking while listening to music, could hear thumping sound in headphones, but not other external noises, like people talking
2. Bluetooth Mode: when enabled, can hear fine high pitch screeching noise in LEFT earphone, that disappears when listening to music at high levels
3. Headphones do slide frequently while on head

Great sound quality and features!
The packaging for these headphones is great. Opened the package to a nice carrying case with everything inside except the manuals.

The carrying case is nice and soft, but everything looks really high quality. Opening the case, the headphones are kind of configured a little strange. You will have to take note of the orientation if you want to put the headphones back in the same way.

The packaging doesn’t do the actual product justice. The headphones are lighter in color and shinier than the box implies, but to me that is a good thing. They have a programmable button that can control the Active Noise Cancelling or the Ambient Aware features, a charging port, volume and next track button, and a slider power button. I don’t love the sliding effect on the power button. I probably would have preferred a regular button, but I assume they used a momentary switch because the headphones have and auto-off feature. On the other side of the headphones is a wired connector to use with wired connections. I love that this is included as I still have products that don’t have Bluetooth.

Manual is really small. I'm 39 (almost 40 and have had Lasik surgery. I can see pretty well and this is pretty small.

They look heavy but were surprisingly lighter than I expected. I have a really large head and these fit well. I have to extend the headphones to the max, but they do fit, however... I like the left and right indicators inside the ear pieces, but when I put them on as suggested... it just feels strange. When I turn them around, they feel better. Not sure what is wrong here and I confirmed that I do know my left from my right, but it just feels better on backwards. Not that the suggested fit is uncomfortable. They have a decent fit, but it just connects with my head better the other way around.

Setup was fairly easy. The app hits you with an opening video and then tells you to connect the headphones. I connected them through the Android Bluetooth setup and the app immediately connected to the headphones.

It takes you through a demo of the Active Noise Canceling (ANC) and the Ambient Awareness features. These are interesting features. I have used ANC before but not the Ambient Awareness. I have to say, I can see a lot of application for the Ambient Awareness. From the capability to actually have a conversation with someone, or hear something going on while listening to music, to the ability to sing with the music and be able to hear whether you are on key or not. Neat! However, when the music stops, you do hear some hiss. It would be nice if there was a way to filter out some of the hiss because it can kind of be a little distracting when you are listening to music that is soft but the tradeoff is you get to hear the world around you AND listen to music. I can accept that.

With the ANC disabled and Ambient Awareness disabled the music sounds fairly plain. There is a nice high end with a lot of presence. Mid-range is good and voices stand out really well, but the bottom end is missing. I started with the EQ disabled and going through the presets, the bass preset really brings in the low-end presence but it's more in the upper bass range, not the head rattling lower range. There is a 10 band EQ for a custom preset and this is where I think these headphones shine. I can create a custom profile of how I want these headphones to sound. BUT. When you adjust the EQ, it doesn't change the sound real-time, you apparently have to save the change, and then go back in if you want to tweak more, then save, hear the change, rinse and repeat. A little monotonous but I'll take it to keep this feature!

As good as the EQ feature is (minus not having real-time changes) when you turn on or off the ANC, the EQ drastically changes. After I set the EQ where I thought the headphones should be (boosting 8k, 2k, 64, and 32Hz slightly) I then tested the ANC. When I turn it on, everything changes. Everything. The bass is now loud and in your face. Kind of odd but I guess you can have a EQ profile for ANC on and another EQ profile for ANC turned off to compensate for the drastic changes. Not a big deal.

The is hiss with ANC on but they do a good job of canceling noise. You can hear a huge difference turning it on and off, but the hiss is there when music is subtle or quiet. The hiss is much better than the noise of not having ANC on but it is not absolutely quiet.

Having said all that about the hiss and the EQ features (positive and negative), I have to say that these headphones sound really nice. I used Spotify on the extreme setting, I tried wired and Bluetooth and there was no noticeable difference in sound quality. Very nice.

The headphones are updatable which is nice if JBL decides to make changes. Strangely when you go in just to check for an update, the headphones will disconnect and the app will dump you out. After reconnecting the EQ preset turned off. Strange. The app is pretty much unusable without the headphones connected. I'm not sure why you would want to use the app without the headphones connected, but there's that. You cannot use the headphones while they are charging. So if you had a portable charger, you are out of luck using them and charging them on the go.

The other accessories that the headphones come with are nice. A decent power cord, a fancy looking airplane adapter, and the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable for the wired connection. It would have been nice to have a locking connector on the 3.5mm cable so you don't accidentally pull the connector out, but I am guessing that the expectation is that most people would be using Bluetooth.

Excellent Sound Quality
I purchased the JBL 750nc headphones for two main purposes. Going to the gym and traveling. I normally use earbuds. but got so tired of that bud jammed into my ear all the time, especially if you wanted to cancel outside noise. These headphones come with a very durable hard case and have easy to use controls lining the right ear. From volume control to tack changing and phone call controls with built in mic.

So I've been using the headphones for a little over two weeks and I have to say they've worked flawlessly. With them on and turned up at the gym, there's no more hearing the people next to you grunting like they're giving birth. They're so good that you can't even hear the clanking of your own weights let alone someone else's. And with the ambient awareness setting, you can set it to allow in only noises that are directly around you or almost any noise you would normally hear. For me it's set to shut everything out which it does perfectly. As I'm writing this review I'm sitting on an airplane coming back from Vegas and two rows up from me is a screaming child. The only way I know this is by the fingernails my wife is digging into my leg. I know she's wishing she had a set of these headphones now.
As for sound quality it is spot on. I'm a big Mumford and Sons fan and there's several instruments this band uses, which you can easily pick out each one. The bass is deep and the trebles are high. One great feature these headphones come with is the JBL App. A must get App if you use these headphones to allow you to customize the sound. It has a built in EQ with pre settings but my favorite feature is the customizable EQ. I like a heavy bass and high highs with my mids right in the middle. Not a problem here. Along with the EQ the App gives you 4 different levels of ambient noise setting from off to low medium or high. Cool feature but again I have it set to off cause I don't want anything interrupting my music except my wife and she knows to tap my shoulder if she needs me.
So for the down side. I really only have 2 issues with these headphones. They're not all that stylish. The color is vey flat and kind if boring, and they're a little bulky looking. They're super light and very comfortable to wear and are so soft around the ears it's like you're not even wearing them. But unfortunately they do look bulky.

The second issue I have with the headphones, which may not even be JBLs fault, but they aren't loud enough for me. I love loud music, ear bleeding loud music. They have the same volume level as both my wired and wireless earbuds. I was hoping to reach a higher volume level with these but unfortunately not. Again it might not even be JBLs fault as there could be a health regulation limiting volume level or it could be my Apple devices limiting the volume.

Overall I really like these wireless headphones and think it was a great investment. I use them virtually all the time, and the earbuds have been put away, possibly for good. As of right now I don't see a need for them to ever come back out again.

My new favorite headphones.
I ended up using this pair of headphones as a replacement to my Bose Quiet Comfort set that got repurposed. Some immediate differences I noted was the sound quality and the ability to adjust how much outside sound the headphones let in.

I mostly use these for gaming and listening to music, and especially in games, I was able to hear things previously not heard on my Bose. Not sure if this was due to better Bluetooth or better speakers but I am quite happy.

The most surprising feature that makes it difficult for me to want to use my Bose pair is the adjustable noise canceling. This is a must for parents or people who need to be able to hear their surroundings while getting lost in their entertainment all while still being able to completely block everything out.
