Advanced Tweeter Design
Using a High Definition Imaging waveguide (inspired by technology found on JBL’s legendary Master Reference Monitor) and a refined 1-inch soft dome tweeter, Arena 130 is capable of crisp high frequency reproduction that disperses evenly across a wide listening area. You’ll fall in love with the speaker’s clean and exacting highs as your favorite music shines with vibrancy and razor sharp imaging.
Excellent Bass Extension
Arena 130 might be small in size, but its powerful 7-inch polycellulose woofer and rear-ported cabinet combine to make a potent package. Rated down to 55 Hz, JBL’s dynamic woofer has the capability to dig deep into low frequencies. You’ll also find clear and articulate mid-range performance that makes for great room-filling sound.
Arena 130 is a do-it-all speaker that can be perched on a stand for stereo duty, placed on a shelf for more casual listening, or integrated as a surround speaker in a home theater room. It happens to be a member of an entire series of speakers that include tower, center channel, and subwoofer options. Because these speakers share similar components, you’re assured they’ll mate perfectly with Arena 130’s own sonic characteristics, resulting in seamless integration and providing lots of flexibility.
JBL designed Arena 130 with a contemporary look and feel that blends perfectly with nearly any décor. The speaker’s rounded front edges and minimalist speaker covers with metal trim provide a modern look that’s as bold as it is understated. And overall build quality is excellent, making for a rock solid cabinet and stellar performance.
Customer Reviews for JBL Arena 130 2-Way 7" Bookshelf Loudspeakers - Pair (Black)
These are far more musical, have a better sound quality than the RF/RC-62s. I purchased an Arena 125 C for a center channel and now these little speakers are my front and center channel speakers . They are impressive.
I have the Arena 120's (the 5" woofer version of this speaker)
and they're outstanding in the surround positions.
Horn loaded drivers up front and in the surround channels
are a must for me.
Commercial Theaters use horn loaded drivers to achieve
their sonic magic that impresses us so much.
So, it's how they do it and it's how we'll do it.
I love this Arena line of theater speakers.
Because they deliver music in stunning fashion too.
Only other line in this price range that even competes
are the Andrew Jones designs for
Pioneer & ELAC.
These Arena 120's & 130's when used with a good subwoofer
are all one needs for a killer Home Theater or Hi-Fi system.
