As well as regular audio CDs, the AXC35 will play MP3 and WMA files from home recorded CD-R, CD-RW and CD ROM discs. There’s also a dedicated digital output which allows you to record from a CD to a digital format or even connect to a standalone DAC when you’re ready to improve your sound even further.

Great CD Player
Got this unit for Christmas and my wife and I love it. Really sounds amazing through our speakers. In fact, I'd say this is the best quality CD player we've ever had, in our many years of listening to CDs. Highly recommend!

Good unit, not outstanding. Sound quality is good, not exceptional. I wish i had bought the higher priced unit i was looking at.

Beautiful sound, elegant looks and superior build!
I upgraded to the AXC35 from my Onkyo C-7030 after researching online reviews and testimonials about Cambridge Audio’s products and brand reputation. Although I would’ve preferred to audition the unit first, I took a calculated risk that I am delighted to say paid off. My C-7030 is a wonderful sounding unit, but to my ears, the AXC35 produces a more neutral sound overall. Highly recommended!

My JVC cd player from 1988 finally died and this looked like the most bang for the buck.
